She has served as the scientific director of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Clinic at Södersjukhuset University Hospital in Stockholm and has developed a particular interest in Gynecological Endocrinology and Diabetes during pregnancy. Currently, she maintains a private practice in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in Athens, works as a Consultant in the Endocrinology Department at Mälarsjukhuset Hospital in Sweden, and is an active researcher at Karolinska University. She completed her rural medical service at the Prefectural Hospital of Kos Island.
