About the specialist

Factors that appear to play a decisive role in the manifestation of a skin problem include the interaction of genetic predisposition, the individual's personality, and stress. Indeed, a significant percentage of individuals with dermatological conditions frequently face psychological issues, while social stigma reduces their quality of life. The application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been shown to help patients manage pain and social exclusion, reduce stress, and successfully cope with their skin condition. Regarding her professional experience, she worked during her internship at the Counseling Center as well as at the Substance Abuse Prevention Center of the Municipality of Zografou. Lastly, she worked at Iaso Maternity Hospital providing psychological support to women with pregnancy-related issues, and currently, she collaborates with the Counseling Approach Center "Grami," as well as with the Speech Therapy and Special Treatments Center.
