Mpiliou Smaragda is an Internist and a Doctoral Candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a dissertation on "Microcirculatory Disorders in Patients with Chronic Liver Disease" and maintains a private practice in Dafni. She holds a degree from the Medical School and a postgraduate diploma in Thrombosis and Hemorrhage – Transfusion Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
