Έλαβε εκπαίδευση στη διενέργεια και ερμηνεία των έγχρωμων υπερηχογραφημάτων (triplex) των αγγείων. Το Αγγειοχειρουργικό Κέντρο του East Suffolk and North Essex αποτελεί σταθμό και ένα από τα ελάχιστα παγκοσμίως στη λαπαροσκοπική/ρομποτική αποκατάσταση των ανευρυσμάτων κοιλιακής αορτής καθώς και στην υβριδική αντιμετώπιση εμμένουσων ενδοδιαφυγών μετά από ενδαγγειακή αποκατάσταση (EVAR) ανευρυσμάτων κοιλιακής αορτής (CEALER). Απέκτησε επίσης εμπειρία στην ελάχιστα επεμβατική αντιμετώπιση σπάνιων παθήσεων, όπως σε endofibrosis των λαγόνιων αρτηριών σε επαγγελματίες ποδηλάτες και αθλητές αντοχής. Vakalopoulos Paulos MD, MSc is a Vascular Surgeon - Angiologist, former Director of the Vascular Surgery Clinic at the Naval Hospital of Athens, and Director of the 2nd Vascular Surgery Clinic at Mediterraneo Hospital in Glyfada. He is a graduate of Military Medicine (SSAS), which trains Medical Officers of the Armed Forces who simultaneously attend the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
