Dontas Ioannis is a Surgeon - Proctologist and Director of the Laser Surgery clinic in Ampelokipoi. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Simultaneously, he attended the Military School of Officers Corps (SSAS) and graduated from the Medical Department of the Military Medical School. Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He specialized in General Surgery at major hospitals in Athens, such as the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and the Naval Hospital of Athens, obtaining his General Surgery specialty title after examinations. Subsequently, he underwent further training in Laser Proctologic Surgery at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Cologne and specialized in Proctology in the USA. He has extensive experience having worked as a Medical Officer and later as a General Surgeon for the Hellenic Police in the Health Department at the Central Clinic of Athens. Moreover, from March 2006 to March 2017, he served as a First Aid Instructor at the Hellenic Lifesaving Academy. As part of his continuous professional development, he has participated in numerous specialized scientific seminars worldwide. Furthermore, he has presented and published a significant number of scientific papers at conferences as well as in reputable international scientific journals. Finally, he specializes in diseases of the anus and pelvic floor, including their diagnosis and treatment.
