Veldekis Dimitrios is a Pulmonologist - Intensivist with a private practice in Korydallos. He studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Pulmonology - Phthisiology at the General Hospital for Thoracic Diseases of Athens "SOTIRIA," where he served as Coordinating Director for many years, heading the KAA department (ICU, IMCU, Pulmonology Clinic, Bronchology Laboratory of Interventional Pulmonology, and Spirometry Laboratory). Είναι Διδάκτωρ του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με Διδακτορική Διατριβή με θέμα: "Χορήγηση από του στόματος ετοποσίδης και εστραμουστίνης σε ασθενείς με ορμονοάντοχο καρκίνο του προστάτη". Έλαβε το πτυχίο της Ιατρικής από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου της Genova στην Ιταλία, με βαθμό Άριστα. Εργάσθηκε σαν Ερευνητής στο ίδιο Πανεπιστήμιο. Ακολούθως, μετά την υποχρεωτική υπηρεσία υπαίθρου στην Μεσσηνιακή Μάνη, ειδικεύθηκε στην Παθολογία στο Γ’ Νοσοκομείο ΙΚΑ. Μετά την λήψη της ειδικότητας εργάσθηκε στο Ογκολογικό Νοσοκομείο "Άγιοι Ανάργυροι", όπου του απονεμήθηκε η ειδικότητα της Παθολογικής Ογκολογίας το 1998, όταν θεσπίσθηκε η ειδικότητα στην Ελλάδα. Υπηρέτησε διαδοχικά σαν Επιμελητής στα Ογκολογικά Νοσοκομεία "Άγιοι Ανάργυροι" και "Άγιος Σάββας", όπου εξελίχθηκε στον βαθμό του Διευθυντή της Β’ Ογκολογικής Κλινικής. Το 2015 αποφάσισε να συνεχίσει στον ιδιωτικό τομέα, οπότε υπέβαλλε την παραίτηση του και έκτοτε εργάζεται στην Ευρωκλινική Αθηνών σαν Διευθυντής Ογκολογικού Τμήματος. Έχει συμμετάσχει, σαν ερευνητής και υπεύθυνος επιδοτούμενου ερευνητικού προγράμματος για την κληρονομικότητα του καρκίνου του μαστού και των ωοθηκών και σαν υπεύθυνος του κληρονομικού καρκίνου και γενετικής συμβουλευτικής στο Νοσοκομείο "Άγιος Σάββας". Διετέλεσε Διευθυντής Σπουδών της Ελληνικής Ακαδημίας Ογκολογίας. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε πολυάριθμα Ελληνικά και Διεθνή Συνέδρια και Σεμινάρια και έχει δώσει εκατοντάδες διαλέξεις και ομιλίες σε στρογγυλά τραπέζια, δραστηριότητες, που συνεχίζονται και με την συμμετοχή σε ερευνητικά πρωτόκολλα. Έχει συμμετάσχει στην συγγραφή επιστημονικών συγγραμμάτων και μελετών σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά. Είναι κριτής (Reviewer) εργασιών διεθνών επιστημονικών περιοδικών. Τέλος, είναι ενεργό μέλος πολλών ελληνικών και διεθνών επιστημονικών εταιρειών και μέλος του ΔΣ της Αντικαρκινικής Εταιρείας. Έχει εκπαιδεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό ειδικευομένων στην Παθολογία και την Παθολογική Ογκολογία για περισσότερες από 2 δεκαετίες και συνεργάζεται με την "Επιστημονική Εταιρεία Φοιτητών Ιατρικής Ελλάδος" στην οργάνωση επιστημονικών εκδηλώσεων και την συγγραφή επιστημονικών άρθρων.

Η Δρ. Σοφιάννα (Σοφία Αντιόπη) Γεννηματά είναι Πνευμονολόγος - Φυματιολόγος - Εντατικολόγος, απόφοιτη της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με βαθμό "Λίαν Καλώς". Ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική της διατριβή στο Εργαστήριο Λειτουργικού Ελέγχου της Α’ Πανεπιστημιακής Πνευμονολογικής Κλινικής του Νοσοκομείου Νοσημάτων Θώρακος Αθηνών "Σωτηρία" με βαθμό "Άριστα".

Ειδικεύθηκε στην Πνευμονολογία στην Α’ Πανεπιστημιακή Πνευμονολογική Κλινική του Νοσοκομείου "Σωτηρία", ενώ στο πλαίσιο της εκπαίδευσής της εργάστηκε για ένα έτος στην Παθολογική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών "Ευαγγελισμός" και εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας της ίδιας κλινικής. Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδικότητας απέκτησε σημαντική εμπειρία στη διενέργεια βρογχοσκοπήσεων και στον λειτουργικό έλεγχο της αναπνοής.

Το 2013 απέκτησε τον τίτλο ειδικότητας Πνευμονολόγου - Φυματιολόγου και εργάστηκε ως Επιμελήτρια στην κλινική, ενώ παράλληλα συμμετείχε ως πανεπιστημιακή υπότροφος σε ερευνητικά πρωτόκολλα και κλινικές μελέτες.

Το 2018 ολοκλήρωσε την εξειδίκευση στην Εντατικολογία στην Πανεπιστημιακή Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας του Γενικού και Ογκολογικού Νοσοκομείου Κηφισιάς "Οι Άγιοι Ανάργυροι".

Σήμερα εργάζεται ως Επιμελήτρια στη Μονάδα Εντατικής Θεραπείας του Ιατρικού Κέντρου Αθηνών στο Μαρούσι, με εμπειρία στη διαχείριση βαρέως πασχόντων ασθενών και σύνθετων παθολογικών και χειρουργικών περιστατικών, όπως αναπνευστική ανεπάρκεια, λοιμώξεις, σηπτική καταπληξία και καρδιαγγειακά επεισόδια. Παράλληλα συμμετέχει στην ομάδα αντιμετώπισης ανακοπής του νοσοκομείου.

Dr. Nikolaou Xristos is a Physician – Oncologist with over 10 years of clinical experience in the United Kingdom (NHS), having served in leading oncology centers such as Guy’s & St Thomas’, Queen’s Hospital, and The Christie Hospital Manchester.

He has a primary specialization in breast cancer, having served as a Consultant Medical Oncologist in specialized breast units, with an active role in multidisciplinary oncology boards and the application of the most advanced therapies (hormone therapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy).

Additionally, he manages a wide range of solid tumors, with particular expertise in melanoma, as well as in modern immunotherapy and targeted treatment for oncology patients.

Oncologist Karagiannis Athanasios, at the Athens Bioclinic, is responsible for the complete design and administration of systemic (intravenous or oral) therapy such as classic chemotherapy and primarily immunotherapy and targeted molecular therapy, based on the results of molecular testing conducted on the tumor of each specific patient, aiming for individualized therapeutic selection in accordance with global guidelines, thus providing patients suffering from cancer access to the latest therapeutic options in immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

He also actively participates in the oncology board, through which decisions are made that determine the overall therapeutic approach to managing a malignant disease. This includes, besides systemic therapy, radiotherapy, surgical removal, and various local treatments (thermal ablation, embolization). The medical team of the oncology board includes physicians from all specialties involved in treating a malignant disease, such as surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, internists, and pathologists, offering a comprehensive assessment of the disease, its treatment, and potential complications during the overall therapeutic course.

In our Oncology Department, numerous patients with lung cancer, stomach and intestinal cancer, pancreatic, liver, and biliary tract cancer, bladder and kidney cancer, and breast cancer are monitored.

Additionally, emphasis is placed on the complex therapeutic management of metastatic and advanced cancers through the simultaneous application of systemic and local therapies (directly to the metastatic site) in collaboration with the specialized interventional radiology department of the Athens Bioclinic. 

Ntaouli Ourania is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculosis Specialist and maintains a private practice in Ampelokipoi. She holds a medical degree from the Democritus University of Thrace Medical School. She completed her postgraduate studies in "Thoracic Oncology: Contemporary Clinical and Laboratory Approach and Research" at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Glynos Konstantinos is Pulmonologist - Tuberculosis specialist in the private sector running his pulmonological office since 2015 in Nea Smyrne. He works as a medical advisor/manager and currently as Real-World Evidence (RWE) lead in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Since 2015, he has been working as medical advisor in the Respi department, for the Ellipta products (Relvar, Incruse, Anoro) and Nucala. Also he has been challenged in managing and couching MSL. Marinos Stamatios is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculologist with a private practice in Glyfada (within the BIOCARE diagnostic center). He is a graduate of the Medical School and has completed postgraduate studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Thoracic Oncology. After graduation and the completion of his mandatory rural service, he specialized in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Athens "Sismanoglio." She has worked for 7 years in Germany at Klinikum Oldenburg, Johanniter Krankenhaus Rheinhausen, and Marienhospital Düsseldorf, specializing in the fields of Medical Oncology and Palliative Care. In Greece, she has worked at the Oncology Hospital of Kifisia "Agioi Anargyroi" and served as a collaborator at the Oncology Unit of the "Sotiria" Hospital.

She holds the ESMO Examination Certificate from the European Society for Medical Oncology.

She has attended numerous conferences and educational seminars both in Greece and internationally, has a significant number of international publications, and participates as a lecturer in postgraduate programs at the University of Athens.

Since 2022, she has been a collaborator and Head of Clinical Studies at the 4th Medical Oncology Clinic of DTKA YGEIA and is the attending physician at MITERA Hospital.
