He specialized in General Surgery at major hospitals in Athens, such as the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and the Naval Hospital of Athens, obtaining his General Surgery specialty title after examinations. Subsequently, he underwent further training in Laser Proctologic Surgery at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Cologne and specialized in Proctology in the USA. He has extensive experience having worked as a Medical Officer and later as a General Surgeon for the Hellenic Police in the Health Department at the Central Clinic of Athens. Moreover, from March 2006 to March 2017, he served as a First Aid Instructor at the Hellenic Lifesaving Academy.
