Αποφοίτησε από το Αμερικανικό Κολλέγιο Ελλάδος “Pierce College” και στη συνέχεια από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Στη συνέχεια είχε την τιμή να υπηρετήσει στο Πολεμικό Ναυτικό ως Δίοπος Ιατρός της Α’ Χειρουργικής Κλινικής ΝΝΑ (Ναυτικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών) και ως Ιατρός των Μονάδων ΣΔΑΜ, ΒΕΝ και ΚΣΑΝ.

Ξεκίνησε την ειδικότητα της Γενικής Χειρουργικής στη Β’ Χειρουργική Κλινική του ΓΝΑ «Γ. ΓΕΝΝΗΜΑΤΑΣ» και στη συνέχεια εκπαιδεύτηκε στην Πλαστική Χειρουργική στο διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο “Hadassah Medical Center" της Ιερουσαλήμ.

Εκεί, σε διάρκεια τεσσάρων ετών, εξερεύνησε και εμβάθυνε στον κόσμο της Πλαστικής, Επανορθωτικής και Αισθητικής Χειρουργικής, όπου η επιστήμη συναντά την τέχνη, αναγνωρίζοντας την ιδιαίτερη ισορροπία ανάμεσα στη χειρουργική ακρίβεια και την αισθητική αρμονία που τη χαρακτηρίζει.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς του, εξειδικεύτηκε σε όλο το φάσμα των επεμβάσεων της πλαστικής χειρουργικής και εκπαιδεύτηκε από τους πλέον διακεκριμένους πλαστικούς χειρουργούς του Ισραήλ, ενώ τελείωσε επιτυχώς την ειδικότητά του με περισσότερες από 3.500 επεμβάσεις στο ενεργητικό του. Αυτές συμπεριλαμβάνουν αισθητικές επεμβάσεις προσώπου, μαστού και σώματος, επανορθωτικές επεμβάσεις εγκαυματιών, τραυματιών, καρκινοπαθών και παιδιών με συγγενείς ανωμαλίες, επεμβάσεις άκρας χείρας, καθώς και πληθώρα επεμβάσεων μικροχειρουργικής αποκατάστασης.

Μετά το πέρας της εκπαίδευσής του, ο Δρ. Μπουρούνης επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα και απέκτησε και επίσημα τον τίτλο ειδικότητας Πλαστικής, Επανορθωτικής και Αισθητικής Χειρουργικής, έπειτα από την επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση των εξετάσεων.

Έχει λάβει πιστοποιήσεις σε προηγμένες τεχνικές της αισθητικής ιατρικής, όπως ενέσιμες θεραπείες Botox (βοτουλινικής τοξίνης), δερματικών εμφυτευάτων (fillers), μεσοθεραπειών, skin boosters, liquid facelift, και σε μη επεμβατικές θεραπείες προσώπου.

Totis Antonios MD, PhD is a Plastic Surgeon with private practices in Serres and Thessaloniki. He is a Scientific Collaborator at the Central Clinic of Athens and has served as a Consultant at the internationally renowned St Andrews Center for Plastic Surgery and Burns in Chelmsford, Essex, where he also received training. Additionally, he has worked privately in London, performing a large number of aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. He possesses extensive experience in aesthetic body surgeries, most notably breast augmentation, and facial surgeries, with rhinoplasty being the most renowned, delivering impressive results. In the field of reconstructive surgery, he manages burn diseases and offers melanoma treatment. In microsurgery, he provides reconstruction of defects of the limbs, head, and neck, as well as breast reconstruction following mastectomy. Finally, he has published in numerous prestigious international and Greek scientific journals and has delivered many lectures at domestic and international medical conferences.
