Το διαιτολογικό γραφείο Geothrepsis | Βερλέκη Γεωργία εδρεύει στους Αμπελόκηπους στην Αθήνα από τον Δεκέμβριο του 2022. Η Βερλέκη Γεωργία είναι Διαιτολόγος - Διατροφολόγος και υπεύθυνη του διαιτολογικού γραφείου. Αποφοίτησε από το Ανώτατο Τεχνολογικό Εκπαιδευτικό Ίδρυμα Θεσσαλίας και, έπειτα, προχώρησε σε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές με κατεύθυνση την Κλινική – Ιατρική Διατροφή, στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης. Διαθέτει επαγγελματική και κλινική εμπειρία από το 2016, αφού έχει εργασθεί ως Κλινική Διαιτολόγος - Διατροφολόγος στη Γενική Κλινική Metropolitan General, συμμετείχε στο σχεδιασμό της υπηρεσίας, «Υπηρεσία Εξατομικευμένης Διατροφικής Φροντίδας – Advanced Patient Nutrition», του Γενικού και Γυναικολογικού / Μαιευτικού Νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και εργαζόταν, παράλληλα, ως Διαιτολόγος - Διατροφολόγος σε ιδιωτικό διαιτολογικό γραφείο των Αθηνών. Την εξάμηνη πρακτική της άσκηση ολοκλήρωσε επιτυχώς στην Γενική Κλινική ΙΑΣΩ General. Είναι μέλος της Ένωσης Διαιτολόγων Διατροφολόγων Ελλάδας (ΕΔΔΕ) από το 2016. Στο ιδιωτικό της γραφείο πραγματοποιεί όλες τις συνεδρίες, για φυσιολογικές και παθολογικές καταστάσεις, ενηλίκων, παιδιών, εφήβων, εγκύων, θηλαζουσών και ατόμων τρίτης ηλικίας. Η εξατομίκευση είναι ο βασικός άξονας στον οποίο στηρίζεται η προσέγγισή της. Βασικό της μέλημα είναι να ανοίξει καινούργιους δρόμους σε όσους την εμπιστευθούν. Κινείται πάντα με γνώμονα την αφετηρία, το παρελθόν και τους στόχους του καθενός και με σεβασμό στη διαφορετικότητα, σχεδιάζει προγράμματα διατροφής που θα οδηγήσουν αργά ή γρήγορα, αλλά κυρίως ανθρώπινα στο επιθυμητό αποτέλεσμα. Εκτός από τη διαχείριση βάρους και τη διατροφική εκπαίδευση, αναλαμβάνει και την διατροφική υποστήριξη κλινικών περιστατικών. Ενίοτε σε πιο αυστηρό πλαίσιο. Όμως πάντα με επίκεντρο τον ασθενή, τα "θέλω" και τα "δε θέλω" του, τις κόκκινες γραμμές του. Με τον εξοπλισμό τελευταίας τεχνολογίας (επαγγελματικό ζυγό και αναλυτή σύστασης σώματος με βιοηλεκτρική εμπέδηση) που διαθέτει το γραφείο εγγυάται πάντα τα πιο ακριβή αποτελέσματα μετρήσεων. Οι συνεδρίες μπορούν να πραγματοποιηθούν και από απόσταση.

Dr. Zaxou Maria is an External Collaborator at the private hospitals "Lefkos Stavros" and "Mediterraneo" and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of Athens - NKUA, focusing on hydrocolonoscopy and new techniques for the removal of colorectal polyps. She is actively engaged in clinical research and has participated in Greek and international conferences, including the Pan-European UEG 2023, where she was awarded for the COLDWATER study. She is specialized in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and is a member of the educational committee of the Rome Foundation. In her private practice, she addresses the full spectrum of Gastroenterology (e.g., Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, Helicobacter pylori infection, GERD, dyspepsia, etc.) and performs gastroscopies and colonoscopies using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring painless and safe procedures.

Xondropoulos Spyros is a Hematologist and maintains a private practice within the Central Medical Park Polyclinic in Kallithea. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and obtained his hematology specialty title at the University General Hospital "Attikon" in 2012. He served as a Hematology Registrar at the Transplantation Unit of the University Hospital of Patras as well as at the Hematology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Georgios Gennimatas" in Athens. Since 2020, he has been a Hematology Registrar at the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit at PGN Attikon.

Additionally, he holds a doctoral degree and is a PhD holder from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, actively participating in the education of undergraduate medical students as well as teaching in postgraduate programs.

He specializes primarily in hematologic malignancies with a particular scientific interest in cellular therapies.

Kiapidou Stefania is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist and maintains a private practice in Kalamaria. She holds a medical degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained her Gastroenterology specialty title at the 4th University Department of Internal Medicine of the Hippokration General Hospital of Thessaloniki, where she continues to be an active member as a scientific collaborator. She has earned a postgraduate degree focusing on Hepatology, specifically non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. She is a member of the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society and the Hellenic Association for the Study of the Liver. Her scientific work includes participation and presentations at national, European, and American conferences, as well as publications in both Greek and international peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Kiapidou has extensive experience in interventional endoscopy and capsule endoscopy. Additionally, she is skilled in the diagnosis and management of gastroenterological diseases and chronic conditions of the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas, and has expertise in esophageal manometry. Finally, she is an external collaborator of private clinics in Thessaloniki.

Giannikos Theofanis is a Hematologist with private practices in Nea Ionia and Kallithea. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as the Military School of Officers Corps. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Air Force School of Aviation Medicine and completed his specialty in Hematology. Beyond his private practice, he serves as a Unit Physician in the Air Force General Staff Squadron, an External Collaborator and Hematologist at the Central Clinic of Athens, and Consultant in the Hematology Clinic 251 of the General Air Force Hospital. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that during his professional career, he worked and trained at the 251 General Air Force Hospital, where he rotated through various departments including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Psychiatry, and Orthopedics. Finally, he is a member of the Hellenic Society of Hematology and the Athens Medical Association and has attended national and European hematology conferences, aiming for continuous education and training in his field.

Vasilatou Diamantina is a Hematologist and maintains a private practice in Marousi. She completed her medical studies at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she is now a Doctor of Philosophy. She specialized in Hematology at the "Attikon" University General Hospital. She has clinical experience, having served as an Assistant Consultant at the General Oncology Hospital of Kifisia "Agioi Anargyroi" and having worked as a Hematologist at DTHKA Hygeia. Finally, she specializes in thrombophilia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

Vessalas Georgios, Specialist in Adult and Pediatric Hematology. Former Director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Agia Sofia Children's Hospital.

Stefanakis Lykourgos is a Dietitian-Nutritionist with a private office in Chalandri. He holds a degree in Applied Dietetics from Canterbury Christ Church University and is an accredited member with ISAK level 1, after completing the educational program of the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry, focusing on Anthropometry. He completed his internship at the Metabolic Self-Regulation and Wellness Center "Homeostasis S.A." He has also attended the specialized program "Sports Nutrition Specialist" by the Academy of Sports Nutrition and is a Scientific Collaborator at Exodos Fitness, where he provides dietary services to athletes. At his private office, Mr. Stefanakis offers a holistic approach to nutrition, combining scientific knowledge with personal interaction. By thoroughly studying the needs of each individual, he designs personalized nutrition programs based on the principles of balanced nutrition.

Varytimiadis Lazaros MD, MSc, FEBGH, PhD is a Gastroenterologist - Interventional Endoscopist, Deputy Director of the Gastroenterology Clinic and Endoscopy Department at MITERA Hospital, and maintains private practices in Pefki and Athens. He received a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology and completed advanced training in Interventional Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Queen Alexandra Hospital, where he was later appointed and worked as a Consultant. He specialized in Gastroenterology at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos - Athens Ophthalmological Clinic - Polyclinic," as well as in Internal Medicine at the General Prefectural Hospital of Edessa. In 2017, he was recognized as a Fellow of the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (FEBGH). Additionally, he holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a dissertation focused on the removal of precancerous lesions (polyps) from the gastrointestinal tract. He completed a postgraduate MSc program in Crisis Management at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated with honors from the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. It is noteworthy that his main clinical interests include complex polypectomies of large polyps (EMR, pEMR, ESD), monitoring patients with Barrett’s esophagus, and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. Furthermore, he has participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and advanced training seminars, has received scholarships and awards for best scientific presentations, and has delivered oral presentations and posters at various scientific meetings.

Aikaterini Benekou, MD, is a Consultant Hematologist with extensive experience in clinical hematology and the management of hematologic malignancies. She runs a private practice in the center of Athens (Pedion tou Areos). She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and in 2015 was awarded the Medical Specialty Title in Hematology after completing her training at Laiko General Hospital of Athens.

From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a Hematology Registrar/Consultant at Barts NHS Trust in London, gaining substantial experience in the management of hematologic malignancies and advanced therapeutic approaches. Subsequently, from August 2018 to April 2019, she served as a Consultant Hematologist at Northwick Park Hospital in London, where she specialized in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Since 2019, she has been serving as a Consultant Hematologist (Grade A) at Laiko General Hospital of Athens, while since 2020 she has also been a regular member of the National Committee for the Evaluation and Reimbursement of Human Medicines at the Ministry of Health, actively contributing to the assessment of new medicines based on documented clinical data on efficacy and safety, with the goal of integrating them into reimbursed therapies.

Her research and academic activity is rich, including publications in international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at major scientific congresses. Her main scientific interests focus on stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and modern treatment approaches for lymphomas and leukemias.

Panagiotis Kouroupakis is a Hematologist and Second Consultant at the Hematology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Sismanogleio." He maintains a private practice within BIOMEDIGEN (a diagnostic center in Chalandri) and is also an external collaborator of the IATROPOLIS Group. He graduated from the Medical School of Athens, collaborated for two years with the Hellenic Oncology Research Group, specialized at G.N.A. Sismanogleio (Internal Medicine 2015-2018, Hematology 2019-2023), and completed postgraduate training in the program "Thrombosis - Hemorrhage - Transfusion Medicine." He provides specialized services for the investigation, diagnostic approach, management, and monitoring of anemia, white blood cell and platelet disorders, benign and malignant hematological diseases, as well as hemostasis disorders, both at the laboratory and clinical levels.

Karlaftis Anastasios MD is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist and maintains a private practice in Metamorfosi, while also collaborating with the endoscopy department of the diagnostic center "Ionio Iatriki." He is a PhD candidate at the University Gastroenterology Clinic of the Medical School of the University of Athens and a graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in the Gastroenterology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and has worked in major hospitals such as the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko," the General Hospital of Athens "Alexandra," and the General Hospital of Chania "Agios Georgios." The physician has participated in numerous scientific meetings and seminars and has numerous presentations in both foreign-language and Greek-language conferences. Additionally, he has several publications in Greek and international journals. During his tenure in university clinics, he has also contributed to teaching by delivering numerous lessons to medical students. Finally, despite practicing private medicine, he continues his research and writing activities, and recently his first book was published, entitled "Modern Guidelines in Gastroenterology and Hepatology."

Ms. Panagiotaki Maria, MD, FEBGH is a Gastroenterologist - Endoscopist at Iatriko (Marousi) and maintains a private practice in Kifisia. She graduated with honors from the German School of Athens, was admitted through national examinations, and obtained her medical degree from the Medical School of the University of Athens. In 2006, she was awarded the specialty title in Gastroenterology and later received the European Diploma in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (FEBGH). She pursued further training as a fellow of the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society at the internationally renowned reference hospital "Klinikum Rechts der Isar, der TUM" (Munich) in endoscopy, advanced endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for precancerous and other gastrointestinal diseases, as well as endoscopic ultrasound. She has participated in numerous seminars and conferences both in Greece and abroad, accumulating a significant number of publications, focusing on lifelong education and updating. She has extensive experience from her tenure at the "Sismanogleio" and "Red Cross" Hospitals, as well as fifteen years of activity in the private sector, having successfully managed the full spectrum of gastroenterology. She performs upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies at the 3rd endoscopy department of the "Iatriko Athinon" Hospital (Marousi) in collaboration with an excellent anesthesiologist to ensure safe and painless examinations with high diagnostic value. She is a member of the Hellenic Gastroenterological Society and the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Η Κογκόλη Μαρία με επιχειρηματική δραστηριότητα για χρόνια στο κέντρο αδυνατίσματος DNA αποφάσισε να δώσει σε ώριμη ηλικία κατατακτήριες και να εισαχθεί στο Χαροκόπειο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Ο Δημήτριος Κοκκινίδης είναι Ειδικός Αιματολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στην Θέρμη της Θεσσαλονίκης. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και ειδικεύθηκε στην Αιματολογία αλλά και την μεταμόσχευση μυελού των οστών, στην Αιματολογική κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Θεσσαλονίκης "Γεώργιος Παπανικολάου".

Εργάζεται ως Διευθυντής ΕΣΥ στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Σερρών, όντας επιστημονικά υπεύθυνος του Αιματολογικού Εργαστηρίου, αναπληρωτής Διευθυντής του σταθμού Αιμοδοσίας ενώ διατηρεί ενεργό ρόλο στην Μονάδα Χ/θεραπείας και στην Μονάδα Μεσογειακής Αναιμίας του ίδιου Νοσοκομείου.

Παράλληλα, είναι υπεύθυνος για την διακίνηση και την συμβουλευτική ασθενών με αιματολογικές παθήσεις τόσο στο αιματολογικό εξωτερικό ιατρείο, όσο και στις κλινικές του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Σερρών, διαθέτοντας ιδιαίτερα μεγάλη εμπειρία στην διαγνωστική διερεύνηση, την αξιολόγηση και τη θεραπεία των παθήσεων του αίματος (καλοήθεις και κακοήθεις). Asimakopoulou Theodora is a Hematologist and maintains private practices in Ampelokipoi and within the Athens Medical Center (in Marousi). She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She served as the Director of the Hematology Clinic at Sismanogleio Hospital for 15 years and was solely responsible for the Short-Term Hospitalization Unit and the Autologous Bone Marrow Transplantation department. Additionally, she was the Director of the Blood Bank and Hematology Department at KAT Hospital and served for many years as a consultant within the National Health System (ESY). She has an extensive research and clinical portfolio, with publications in international and Greek scientific journals, and her broad experience focuses on benign and malignant hematological diseases, including their diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring.

Ο Δρ. Γιαννακόπουλος Γιώργος είναι Ειδικός Γαστρεντερολόγος-Hπατολόγος-Επεμβατικός Ενδοσκόπος - Παγκρεατολόγος με πολυετή εκπαίδευση και κλινική εμπειρία στη Σουηδία, σε πανεπιστημιακά και ιδιωτικά νοσοκομεία υψηλής εξειδίκευσης, καθώς και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι. Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με βαθμό πτυχίου «Άριστα». Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών του, συνέχισε την εκπαίδευσή του στη Σουηδία, όπου ειδικεύτηκε στην Εσωτερική Παθολογία στο Νοσοκομείο Danderyds Sjukhus της Στοκχόλμης, αποκτώντας τον τίτλο ειδικότητας το 2014. Στη συνέχεια, πραγματοποίησε την εξειδίκευσή του στη Γαστρεντερολογία στο Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset, ένα από τα κορυφαία πανεπιστημιακά νοσοκομεία της Ευρώπης. Ο τίτλος ειδικότητας Γαστρεντερολογίας του απονεμήθηκε το 2017. Από το 2021 έως σήμερα, εργάζεται ως ειδικός γαστρεντερολόγος στις γαστρεντερολογικές κλινικές Capio και Aleris στη Στοκχόλμη, προσφέροντας υψηλού επιπέδου ιατρικές υπηρεσίες τόσο στον διαγνωστικό όσο και στον θεραπευτικό τομέα.
