Mahaira Asimina

Maxaira Asimina is an Adult and Pediatric Otolaryngologist Surgeon with a private practice in Cholargos. She holds a PhD from the University of Padua, Italy, and graduated from the Medical School of the same university. She trained in General Surgery at the Penteli Children's General Hospital, in Pediatric ENT at the Children's General Hospital "Agia Sophia," and in Adult ENT at the Athens Thoracic Diseases General Hospital "Sotiria." During her training, she focused on ENT disorders of neonates, children, and adults. She worked in the respective audiology departments for the diagnosis and management of hearing loss and vertigo. She also worked at the University ENT Clinic of the Padua Hospital in Italy, emphasizing otologic surgeries and functional endoscopic sinus surgeries (FESS). Concurrently with obtaining her ENT specialty, she attended courses of the Academy of Classical Homeopathic Medicine for four years and earned the corresponding degree. To date, she is a Scientific Collaborator at Iaso Children’s Hospital and the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital and has also served as an ENT Consultant at the General - Pediatric Clinic "Mitera." Additionally, she has presented papers and participated in national and international conferences, as well as authored articles in scientific journals.
