Pournaras and Prof. H. Heiman, respectively. He is the author of 35 articles in international scientific journals, as well as 18 chapters in English and French ophthalmology books, and has delivered over 90 presentations at Greek and international ophthalmology conferences. He holds the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma and has been awarded for his scientific work at international conferences. Dr. Mendrinos has participated in international studies (Excite, Mont Blanc, Cabernet, VIEW2) that established the modern management of age-related macular degeneration. He is the founder and administrator of the Medica Polyclinic in Agios Stefanos, where he currently practices, a state-of-the-art facility covering nearly all specialties. Τέλος, διδάσκει στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα σπουδών του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών για ιατρούς Οφθαλμιάτρους ¨Σύγχρονες Προσεγγίσεις στην Παθολογία και Χειρουργική του Αμφιβληστροειδούς¨ και στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα διαθλαστικής χειρουργικής "Αντιμετώπιση διαθλαστικών εκτροπών και διαθλαστικές επεμβάσεις ", επίσης του Πανεπιστημίου Ιατρικής Αθηνών ΕΚΠΑ. Στο ιατρείο της αναλαμβάνει περιστατικά που άπτονται σε όλες τις υποεξειδικεύσεις και φάσμα της Οφθαλμολογίας σε ενήλικες και παιδιά, καθώς και χειρουργικά περιστατικά.

Gedeon Spyros is an Ophthalmologist who maintains a private practice in Cholargos. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the Health Sciences Department at the University of Crete and holds the European Board of Ophthalmology Diploma (EBOD). He specialized in ophthalmology at the Athens General Hospital "Evangelismos - Athens Eye Clinic - Polyclinic." The physician has extensive experience in anterior segment eye surgery (cataract, glaucoma, eyelid surgery), as well as in refractive surgery (correction of myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism). Additionally, he has numerous presentations and continuously participates in conferences and seminars to stay updated on advancements in his field. Finally, besides his private practice, the doctor collaborates as a surgeon with the OMMA Eye Center and is a member of the Athens Medical Association.
