Orfanidis Thomas is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Chaidari. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the Ophthalmology Department of the Athens Polyclinic. He specializes in refractive surgery, including cataract surgeries using phacoemulsification, laser procedures for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, as well as glaucoma investigation and monitoring. Επιπροσθέτως, εξειδικεύθηκε στις Παθήσεις Αμφιβληστροειδούς και της Ωχράς στο University of Toronto στον Καναδά, ενώ τo 1999-2000 σαν υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση εξειδικεύθηκε στη "Διαθλαστική Χειρουργική και Χειρουργική του Προσθίου ημιμορίου του Οφθαλμού" στο University of Newcastle της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Έχει διατελέσει Επιστημονικός Διευθυντής Διαθλαστικής Χειρουργικής του Βαρδινογιάννειου Εργαστηρίου Μικροχειρουργικής και Μεταμοσχεύσεων του Οφθαλμού (ΒΕΜΜΟ) της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης. Έχει ενεργό συμμετοχή σε πάνω από 300 δημοσιεύσεις, ανακοινώσεις, επιστημονικά άρθρα, κεφάλαια σε βιβλία, ή παρουσιάσεις σε ευρωπαϊκό ή παγκόσμιο επίπεδο και είναι εταίρος του Royal College of Ophthalmologists του Λονδίνου, ενώ έχει πραγματοποιήσει πάνω από 10.000 διαθλαστικές και άλλες οφθαλμολογικές επεμβάσεις και έχει εκπαιδεύσει μεγάλο αριθμό ημεδαπών και αλλοδαπών διαθλαστικών χειρούργων από όλο τον κόσμο. Επιπλέον, είναι καθηγητής Οφθαλμολογίας στο Weill - Cornell Medical College της Νέας Υόρκης, επισκέπτης καθηγητής στο Ιατρικό Πανεπιστήμιο Wenzhou της Κίνας και επιστημονικός σύμβουλος της ιατρικής βιομηχανίας λέιζερ και απεικονιστικών συστημάτων στην οφθαλμολογία. Ο Δρανίδης Γεώργιος είναι Οφθαλμίατρος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Είναι Διδάκτωρ και απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Θεσσαλονίκης. Ι. Παλλήκαρη, εμπνευστή της μεθόδου LASIK για την διόρθωση των διαθλαστικών σφαλμάτων- μυωπία,αστιγματισμος,υπερμετρωπία και στην διορθωση της πρεσβυωπίας, καθώς και του κερατοκωνου.

Επίσης, εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Μ. Βρετανία στη χρήση βοτουλινικής τοξίνης για την εξάλειψη των ρυτίδων του προσώπου και τη θεραπεία του βλεφαρόσπασμου καθώς και στην εφαρμογή ενέσιμων σκευασμάτων υαλουρονικού οξέος για την εξάλειψη των ρυτίδων και ουλών του προσώπου.

Gkolezakis Spyros is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (Germany), specialized and further trained at the ophthalmology clinic of the Evangelical Hospital Mülheim, and a member of the European Ophthalmological Society FEBO (Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology).
