Kentro Eidikon Therapeion Epi Paidos MD

The Kentro Eidikon Therapeion Epi Paidos in Alimos envisions supporting children with difficulties and their families who need assistance during this critical period of their lives by a qualified professional with knowledge and genuine interest in the optimal and rapid development of the child. The center provides assessments and therapeutic sessions conducted by a Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Child Psychologist. Special education and school support sessions are also provided. Parents receive support through counseling sessions. The interdisciplinary team is supervised by Penny Kasimi, Speech Therapist, specializing in ADHD and Developmental Disorders. The occupational therapist Kallia Efstathia, a graduate of the Occupational Therapy Department of TEI Athens, holds a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Nicosia and has completed a one-year specialization in Special Education from the University of the Aegean. She has attended numerous specialized seminars, including The Greenspan Floortime Approach, the Athena Test – Training and Certification, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and the BOT-2 assessment battery. Additionally, she has been trained in Dysgraphia, Graphomotor Skills, and Sensory Integration, and has participated in workshops and national occupational therapy conferences. The individualized therapeutic programs, tailored to the needs of each child with respect for their personality and particularities, aim primarily to improve the quality of life for both the child and their family.
