Meropouli Antonia MD, PhDC is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Smyrni. She is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Consultant Surgeon at Metropolitan Hospital, and a scientific associate at various other private hospitals. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras. Ms. Kitsou Xristina is a Vascular Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon and maintains her practice in Kolonaki. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specializes in Venous Surgery and Endocrine Surgery. Venous surgery for lower limb venous insufficiency concerns varicose veins and can be treated conservatively (sclerotherapy injections, Foam, and non-invasive Laser) as well as surgically (Laser, RF). The common feature of all conservative methods is that the patient continues their normal activities while undergoing treatment, whereas surgical methods require the patient to refrain from work for 1 to 2 days and typically involve a 24-hour hospital stay. Endocrine surgery concerns the thyroid and parathyroid glands. Surgical intervention is performed only upon indications set by the Endocrinologist and with the consent of the Surgeon. The incision made is small and analgesics are not required during the usually one-day hospitalization. In this case, the patient will need to abstain from work for 1 to 2 days.

Mousiolis Dimitris MD, MSc, cPhD is a General Surgeon with a private clinic in Ilion. He graduated from the Medical School of Plovdiv University and obtained his specialty in General Surgery from the General Hospital of Athens "Elpis". Το 2022 πραγματοποίησε την πρώτη Ρομποτική Κολεκτομή δια φυσικών οπών- χωρίς τομή στην κοιλιά (NOTES) στην Ευρώπη.

Το κέντρο της είναι το μοναδικό στην Ελλάδα που πραγματοποιεί αυτή την επέμβαση.

Το 2024, πραγματοποίησε πρώτη παγκοσμίως προηγμένη ρομποτική επέμβαση με χρήση τεχνητής νοημοσύνης για real-time πλοήγηση και αναγνώριση εργαλείων και οργάνων.

Συμμετέχει ενεργά ως προσκεκλημένη ομιλήτρια σε διεθνή συνέδρια για τη ρομποτική χειρουργική και τα ERAS πρωτόκολλα, συμβάλλοντας στην εξέλιξη της ρομποτικής χειρουργικής χειρουργικής παγκοσμίως.

Dr. Ioannis Zouridakis, MD, MSc, is a General Surgeon and Breast Specialist who has maintained a private practice in Korydallos since 1994 and recently within REA Hospital. He is a Scientific Collaborator and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a doctoral thesis completed during his studies. He specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and further specialized in Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Montpellier in France. He attended the European Advanced Level Course in Breast Disease Management for Surgeons in Athens and specialized in the treatment of breast diseases at the 6th Oncology Hospital "G. Gennimatas." Subsequently, he specialized in hernia surgery using dual mesh PHS & Prolene 3D Patch at Umberto I Hospital in Italy and also specialized in Minimally Invasive Operating Techniques in Colorectal Surgery. He has worked in numerous hospitals and clinics and has served for many years as the Director of the Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital. Currently, he works daily as a Surgeon – Laparoscopist – Breast Specialist (Consultant Surgeon) at the General and Maternity Hospital REA, one of the most modern hospitals in Greece. Finally, he has attended and participated in over 100 medical conferences in Greece and abroad.

Georgopoulos Nikolaos is a General Surgeon and maintains private practices in Mavili Square and in Sparta. From 2012 until 2023, he served as Director of the 2nd Surgical Clinic at the Naval Hospital of Athens, and he is currently the Director of the Surgical Clinic at Mediterraneo Hospital. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed his specialization in General Surgery in 1996, having trained at the Naval Hospitals of Crete and Athens, as well as at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos," where he received training in trauma, upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, endocrine gland surgery, bariatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and organ transplantation. Overall (including surgeries performed in private clinics), he has operated on over 7,500 patients. In the intervening periods, he completed further training abroad in Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, England, Switzerland, and Brazil. In his latest training in lower rectal cancer, he had the opportunity to successfully perform laparoscopic surgery (including TaTME), preserving the sphincters and anus and avoiding permanent colostomy. Kouzanidis Nikolaos MD, MSc is a General Surgeon with private practices in Nea Ionia and Ampelokipoi. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and has completed postgraduate studies in minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, and telesurgery at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
