Αθανασέας Ιωάννης DDS

Ioannis Athanaseas is a Dental Surgeon, graduate of the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

As part of his continuous professional development, he has completed a postgraduate training program in Implant Dentistry at New York University, as well as a one-year postgraduate program in Restorative Dentistry at the Academy of Clinical Dentistry.

He is an external associate of Metropolitan Hospital, where he manages dental emergency cases, including severe dental pain, dental fractures, abscesses, and oral injuries. He has also served at the Dental Center of the Hellenic Navy, where he primarily managed emergency dental cases.

The fundamental principle of his treatment philosophy is the preservation of natural teeth. With a focus on long-term oral health, he aims to utilize all modern and evidence-based treatment options, even in cases with an unfavorable prognosis, before proceeding with extraction. When preservation of a tooth is no longer feasible, he provides comprehensive prosthetic rehabilitation solutions, including dental implants, with the goal of restoring oral function and smile aesthetics.

At the same time, he offers modern aesthetic dental treatments, such as teeth whitening, veneers, and orthodontic treatment with clear aligners, aiming to achieve a healthy, harmonious, and natural-looking smile.
