Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και ξεκίνησε την ειδίκευσή του στην Παιδοφθαλμολογία στο Νοσοκομείο Παίδων "Αγία Σοφία".

Στη συνέχεια, εκπαιδεύτηκε στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Γεννηματάς και ακολούθως συνέχισε την ειδικότητά του στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, στα νοσοκομεία East Kent Hospitals, όπου ολοκλήρωσε τρία χρόνια εκπαίδευσης στην Οφθαλμολογία. Εκεί έκανε και τα πρώτα του βήματα στη χειρουργική του αμφιβληστροειδούς.

Μετά την επιστροφή του στην Ελλάδα, ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητά του στο Νοσοκομείο «Ευαγγελισμός» στην Αθήνα, αποκτώντας τον τίτλο ειδικότητας στην Οφθαλμολογία, καθώς και το Ευρωπαϊκό Δίπλωμα Οφθαλμολογίας. Παράλληλα, ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην Ιατρική Απεικόνιση στην Οφθαλμολογία.

Τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια εξειδικεύτηκε περαιτέρω στη χειρουργική του αμφιβληστροειδούς, του υαλοειδούς και της ωχράς κηλίδας στα νοσοκομεία Royal Berkshire Hospital (Reading) και Royal Victoria Infirmary (Newcastle) στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.

Ο ιατρός εξειδικεύεται στη χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση παθήσεων του αμφιβληστροειδούς και του υαλοειδούς, όπως η αποκόλληση αμφιβληστροειδούς, επιωχρική μεμβράνη, οπή ωχράς κηλίδας, ενδοϋαλοειδική αιμορραγία, χειρουργική καταρράκτη και διαθλαστική χειρουργική καταρράκτη, ενδοϋαλοειδικές ενέσεις για την αντιμετώπιση της ηλικιακής εκφύλισης ωχράς κηλίδας και του διαβητικού οιδήματος ωχράς, Laser για τη θεραπεία ρωγμών αμφιβληστροειδούς και διαβητικής αμφιβληστροειδοπάθειας, οφθαλμικές φλεγμονές (ραγοειδίτιδες).

Επιπλέον, ειδικεύεται στην παρακολούθηση και τον έλεγχο γλαυκώματος, στον πλήρη παιδοφθαλμολογικό έλεγχο με φιλοσοφία φροντίδας.

Στόχος του είναι η παροχή υψηλού επιπέδου, εξατομικευμένης οφθαλμολογικής φροντίδας, με έμφαση στην ολοκληρωμένη ενημέρωση του ασθενούς και στην επιλογή της κατάλληλης θεραπευτικής προσέγγισης για κάθε περίπτωση.
