Goulopoulos THomas

Goulopoulos Thomas is a General Surgeon with private practices in Karditsa and Trikala. Simultaneously, he serves as a Specialist Scientist on the nationwide examination committees for professional training certification under the Ministry of Education. He studied at the Medical School of Varna and subsequently obtained degree equivalency through examinations at the Medical Departments of the University of Crete and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Elpis." He was accepted into the University Surgical Clinic of Sigmaringen in Germany, where he specialized in colorectal cancer; this clinic is part of the University of Tubingen. He continued his specialty training at the Transplantation Center of Hippocrates Hospital in Thessaloniki, participating in both kidney and liver transplantations, which at that time were conducted exclusively there. He trained in London at the Liver Research Foundation, specializing in hepatocellular carcinoma. Throughout his training and concurrently, he participated in numerous conferences with a wide range of presentations and publications. He remains at the forefront of advancements, continuously monitoring every new scientifically validated interventional method and treatment in his specialty.
