Oikonomidou Hristina

Oikonomidou Christina is a specialist endocrinologist-diabetologist, with a clinic in Karditsa. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued her training in endocrinology-diabetology at the Endocrinology-Diabetology Clinic of the Polyclinic Hospital of Athens, as well as in the Obesity Department of the University Clinic of Laiko Hospital of Athens. She also trained in the use of ultrasound at the Athens General Hospital "Evangelismos," as well as in pediatric endocrinology and adolescent endocrinology at the Children's Hospital Agia Sofia. She specializes in thyroid and parathyroid gland disorders, type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, and gestational diabetes. She also specializes in obesity, osteoporosis, calcium-vitamin D metabolism disorders, and menstrual disorders-polycystic ovary syndrome. She manages growth disorders, short stature, puberty, and pituitary-adrenal gland conditions. She is a member of the Hellenic Endocrine Society, the Obesity Society, the Hellenic Diabetes Association, and the Hellenic Osteoporosis Foundation.
