Simultaneously, he serves as the Director of the Vascular Surgery Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital and Scientific Head of the Diabetic Foot Clinic. He holds a doctorate and is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, he holds the "Basic Surgical Skills" Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of the United Kingdom and, since 2018, he has held the title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, which was awarded to him in Boston, USA. He specialized in Vascular Surgery at the 1st Surgical Clinic of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" and subsequently received further training in Hybrid and Endovascular techniques for the repair of vascular diseases and thoracoabdominal aortic conditions at Saint-Joseph Hospital in Marseille, supported by a scholarship from the European Society of Vascular Surgery.
