Georgia Raptopoulou BSc, MSc, PhDc is a licensed Psychologist - Child Psychologist and Psychotherapist, maintaining a private practice in Santorini, Greece. She studied Psychology and specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) for adults, adolescents, and children. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Psychology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Derby in the UK, a specialization in Child Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire, as well as a postgraduate specialization program focusing on depression, anxiety, and stress in vulnerable populations.
Additionally, she has specialized in Positive Psychology at Panteion University and holds a certification in Couples and Family Counseling from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is also certified in enhancing communication between parents and children, and has received training in Sexual Education, Play Therapy, and Dramatic Play for children at the Institute of Mental Health (DI.KE.PSY.).
She is a scientific collaborator at Eurolab Santorini (Eurognosi), providing expertise on matters concerning students, teachers, and children within the school environment. She organizes workshops related to exams, student and parent stress and its management, as well as communication between students, parents, and teachers to foster more effective and positive collaboration.
Her research interests focus on children and families, and she runs a mental health center dedicated to the psychological well-being of children and families in Santorini.
