Zotou Efi is specialized in Integrative Psychotherapy and is a certified Mental Health Counselor. She completed her studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology, with a focus on Psychology. She has specialized in Integrative Psychotherapy through a four-year theoretical and experiential training program at the Athens Synthesis Center postgraduate program and in recent years has continued her postgraduate training in Gestalt therapy. She is a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and the National Society of Psychotherapy of Greece (E.E.P.S.).
She has experience in neurodiversity, with an emphasis on adult ADHD and the autism spectrum. As an individual with ADHD and on the autism spectrum herself, she offers profound, experiential understanding and a therapeutic perspective that highlights the potentials of neurodiversity.
Additionally, she actively participates in Art Therapy seminars and incorporates techniques from drama therapy, dance therapy, and visual arts approaches into the therapeutic process. Currently, she works therapeutically with individual and group sessions, as well as couples therapy sessions.
At the core of her holistic therapeutic approach are empowerment, self-improvement, and the enhancement of a sense of wholeness. Simultaneously, she supports individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, panic attacks, loss, psychosomatic symptoms, difficulties in interpersonal relationships, and the search for meaning.
