Physiotherapists

The physiotherapy center has been operating since 2012 in the area of Agios Stefanos. The scientific director, Mr. Gkaveras Vasilis, is specialized in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory disorders, as well as therapeutic exercise and acupuncture. Vasilis Gkaveras is a graduate of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens, Department of Physiotherapy. He has attended numerous conferences, both as a participant and as a speaker. Since his graduation in 2007, he has been continuously enhancing his education by attending seminars in his field of expertise. He has completed seminars in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF 1, 2, 3a), myofascial trigger point therapy (Trigger Point Therapy 1, 2), dry needling (Dry Needle Therapy 1), and sports taping (Medical Taping), qualifications that make him specialized in musculoskeletal and neurological cases. In 2012, he completed the two-year first cycle of postgraduate studies at the Greek Association of Manual Therapy Physiotherapists, obtaining the title of Manual Therapist, internationally recognized by IFOMT. Regarding his professional experience, he has worked in several physiotherapy clinics in Athens (ARCOS Rehabilitation Center, OSTEO-PHYSIO Therapy Lab, 401 General Military Hospital of Athens), as well as at the municipal polyclinics of Agios Stefanos, through volunteer work. At the beginning of 2013, he founded the physiotherapy center "Physiopulse." Finally, he also provides home treatment services.

Kalavrezos Georgios is a Physiotherapist who maintains a private physiotherapy clinic in Ilioupoli. He studied in the Department of Physiotherapy at the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Patras and trained at the General Hospital "Asklepieio" of Voula and the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens. Mr. Kalavrezos’ facility is excellently and modernly equipped and, combined with specialized and highly trained staff, offers a wide range of services with immediate and high-quality results.

Central Physio Clinic - Spyros Sotiropoulos is a Physiotherapist who operates his private physiotherapy center in Ilisia. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the School of Health Professions and Social Care of the Athens University of Applied Sciences, a master's degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton, and is a PhD candidate in the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica. He has specialized in Acupuncture at the University of West Attica and has served as a Scientific Collaborator at the Pain and Palliative Care Center of the 1st University Anesthesiology Clinic of Aretaieio Hospital, Trainer in the Lifelong Learning Program of the University of West Attica for training in Acupuncture for Physicians and Physiotherapists, and Trainer in the Lifelong Learning Program of the University of West Attica for training in therapeutic exercise. At Central Physio Clinic, which consists of a team of specialized and experienced physiotherapists with many years of clinical experience in Greece and abroad, modern rehabilitation methods are applied using specialized techniques and state-of-the-art equipment that is completely safe and effective, aiming to meet the continuously increasing demands. Ksenofon Xatzisarantos is a Physiotherapist and runs a private clinic in Anoixi. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and has undergone further training in manual therapy with techniques based on hands-on treatment. During his career, he has worked at the physiotherapy center "IASIS," at the General Hospital of Attica KAT, as a Physiotherapist for the National Fencing Team of the "Paradeisos Marousiou" Club, and as a Coordinator in the Fencing Department at the Olympic Games. Today, the center offers the most advanced techniques for the rehabilitation of orthopedic, neurological, and sports conditions, specifically using taping techniques such as kinesiotaping, and techniques for spinal rehabilitation such as Maitland, Kaltenborn, and Mulligan. Additionally, he is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists and has participated in numerous conferences and seminars to stay continuously updated on advancements in his field.

Ergotherapei - Center for Special Therapies is located in Galatsi. The founders and scientific supervisors of the Center are Dimitra Efthymiou, a qualified occupational therapist, and Georgia Paschali, a qualified speech therapist.

Ergotherapei Center is a specialized therapeutic facility focusing on the assessment and intervention of neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with motor, neurological, developmental, psychosocial, and learning difficulties. The center offers specialties in Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Special Education, Early Intervention, and Psychological Support for children. Additionally, counseling services and psychoeducation for parents and caregivers are provided, which, combined with individualized programs for each patient, aim to enhance the individual's functionality, independence, emotional and communicative maturation, and autonomy.

Η Λιανού Κατερίνα είναι Φυσικοθεραπεύτρια , Επιστημονικά Υπεύθυνη και Συνιδρύτρια του Πρότυπου Κέντρου Φυσικοθεραπείας " JP FITNESS " στην Καλλιθέα, από το 2018 έως και σήμερα. 

Ήταν συνιδρύτρια και επιστημονική υπεύθυνη του Πρότυπου Κέντρου Φυσικοθεραπείας “Κίνηση & Θεραπεία” από το 2004 έως και το 2017.

Είναι βασική καθηγήτρια : της “Studio One Sports & Fitness School, με αντικείμενο: την Αθλητική Tραυματιολογία, Ανατομία και Εμβιομηχανική από το 2010 έως και σήμερα στα διπλώματα Personal Training, Pilates, Yoga.

Ήταν βασική καθηγήτρια : στη σχολή “Athens Yoga” με αντικείμενο ανατομία και κινησιολογία στο δίπλωμα της Yoga από το 2012 έως και το 2019 και βασική καθηγήτρια σε workshops με θέμα Myofascial Release And Trigger Point Therapy από το 2016 έως και σήμερα.

Έχει συμμετάσχει στην συγγραφή του εγχειριδίου: του Studio One, στην ειδικότητα του personal training στο κομμάτι της Αθλητικής Τραυματολογίας και των Ειδικών Πληθυσμών, αλλά και στη συγγραφή και έκδοση βιβλίου με τη συμμετοχή του καθηγητή Dr V.Zelev με θέμα ασκήσεις με Swiss Ball σε ασθενείς με δισκοπάθεια.

Αριθμεί πολλές δημοσιεύσεις και έχει υπάρξει ομιλήτρια σε δεκάδες συνέδρια.

Είναι απόφοιτη του Πανεπιστημίου N.S.A με ειδικότητα φυσικοθεραπείας, βαθμό κλινικής πρακτικής άριστα και θέμα διπλωματικής εργασίας : " κινησιοθεραπεία μετά από μηχανική βλάβη του περονιαίου νεύρου" στην οποία αρίστευσε.

Απόκτησε την εργασιακή της εμπειρία: σε κέντρο Αποκατάστασης και στο “Ερρίκος Ντυνάν” Hospital Center, ασχολούμενη με ασθενείς με αθλητικές κακώσεις, μυοσκελετικά, νευρολογικά, καρδιαγγειακά και αναπνευστικά προβλήματα επί σειρά ετών.

Έχει εκπονήσει διδακτορικό τίτλο με θέμα : την αντιμετώπιση του αντανακλαστικού πόνου στην οσφυϊκή μοίρα της σπονδυλικής στήλης σε ασθενείς με δισκοπάθεια.

Stefanatos Theoxaris is a Physiotherapist who operates a private physiotherapy clinic in Galatsi. He is a graduate of the Physiotherapy Department of the Athens Technological Educational Institute with twenty years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy. He has worked in rehabilitation centers and as a Sports Physiotherapist at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. Vrakas Giorgos is a Physiotherapist who owns a private physiotherapy clinic in Evosmos, Thessaloniki.
