He has accumulated professional experience from a large number of hospital institutions, and currently serves as a Scientific Collaborator for the Affidea Euroiatriki group and as a contracted pediatrician with the Ministry of National Defense. Efthymiou Theodora, is a pediatrician and maintains a private practice located in Chalandri since 2006, while she is also collaborating with SOS DOCTORS as a fully active member. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and completed a Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus on Social and Preventive Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Patras. Her thesis addressed childhood obesity. She served as a mandatory rural service physician in Konitsa, Ioannina. She began her pediatric specialty training at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Zakynthos and completed it at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Patras "Karamanadaneio," where she participated in the Endocrinology and Neurology clinics, the Mediterranean Anemia Unit, and the Neonatal Unit. She has also worked as an on-call physician in private healthcare units and as the Chief Medical Officer at recreational facilities and football matches in Ioannina. She completed her medical studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School and her postgraduate studies in Global Health - Health Crisis Management at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2021, she has been a doctoral candidate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Pediatric Neurology, specifically pediatric and adolescent multiple sclerosis. The physician trained at the Pediatric and Neonatology Clinic of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Papageorgiou."
