Kapogiannis Xaris is a Pediatrician specialized in Pediatric Nephrology (MD, PhD). He works as a Pediatrician - Pediatric Nephrologist (Consultant) at the Pediatric Center of Athens (Medical Group of Athens). He maintains a private practice in Marousi. Μετά την ολοκλήρωση των σπουδών της στο Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών μετέβη στην Γερμανία, όπου κι ειδικεύτηκε στην παιδιατρική. Δούλεψε ως ειδικευόμενη στις παιδιατρικές κλινικές τεσσάρων διαφορετικών νοσοκομείων σε διαφορετικές πόλεις του κρατιδίου της Ρηνανίας Βεστφαλίας (Universitätsklinikum Essen, Helios Klinikum Wuppertal, AMEOS Klinik Oberhausen Sterkrade, Helios Klinikum Duisburg) αποκτώντας γνώση και εμπειρία σε όλους τους τομείς της παιδιατρικής και κυρίως στη νεογνολογία και τη διενέργεια υπερήχων. Στη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg, κέντρο αναφοράς παιδιών με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα «Η χορήγηση αναισθησίας στα παιδιά με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren: παράγοντες κινδύνου κι επιπλοκές». Το 2018 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της παιδιατρικής. Συνέχισε να εργάζεται στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg ως επιμελήτρια (Funktionsoberärztin) έως και το 2020. Στη συνέχεια εργάστηκε σε μεγάλο παιδιατρείο στο Düsseldorf αποκτώντας έτσι εμπειρία στις διαφορετικές απαιτήσεις της εργασίας του ιατρού της κοινότητας. Στην διάρκεια της επαγγελματικής της πορείας έλαβε μέρος σε πολλά μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια (επείγουσα παιδιατρική, διενέργεια υπερήχων, αξιολόγηση ηλεκτροεγκεφαλογραφημάτων, διασωλήνωση και αερισμός παιδιών και νεογνών, μητρικός θηλασμός, ιατρική διατροφής παιδιών και νεογνών) αλλά και συνέδρια παιδιατρικής κι εφηβιατρικής. Έχει υπάρξει υπεύθυνη προσαρμογής ειδικευομένων στην κλινική κι εκπρόσωπός τους. Έχει διεξάγει μαθήματα για τους εκπαιδευόμενους νοσηλευτές και παρουσιάσεις για τους παιδιάτρους. Το φθινόπωρο του 2021 επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα. Διατηρεί ιατρείο στο Μαρούσι Αττικής κι είναι συνεργάτης της παιδιατρικής κλινικής του νοσοκομείου ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και συνεργάτης των πολυϊατρείων Medifirst. Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνη παιδίατρος των βρεφονηπιακών σταθμών στο Ζωγράφου. Είναι παντρεμένη και μητέρα δύο παιδιών. Dr. Zairi Maria is a Pediatrician and maintains her private practice in Voula. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the University of Patras. During her Pediatric specialization, she trained at numerous University Hospitals in the United Kingdom (such as University Hospital of Southampton, Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals, Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital) as well as at the 2nd University Pediatric Clinic of the "Panagiotis & Aglaia Kyriakou" Children's Hospital, where she obtained her specialty certification in June 2020. Additionally, she has served as a Pediatric Surgery Trainee at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, as a Pediatric Plastic Surgery Trainee at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in Manchester, and as a Pediatric Cardiology Trainee at Southampton General Hospital. Dr. Thanos Xristos is a Pediatrician, specialized in Germany in Infectious Diseases and in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. Since October 2022, he has maintained his private practice in Kalamaria and, since December 2022, he serves as a Pediatrician at the "Agios Loukas" Clinic in Thessaloniki. Until May 31, 2023, he practiced for four years as a private specialist physician in pediatric and adolescent medicine at a family/pediatric practice in Berlin. Dr. Xristos is a graduate of the Democritus University of Thrace. Giannopoulou Sotiria MD, MPH, IBCLC is a Pediatrician - Internationally Certified Lactation Consultant and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and completed a Master's Degree in Public Health with a focus on Social and Preventive Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Patras. Her thesis addressed childhood obesity. She served as a mandatory rural service physician in Konitsa, Ioannina. She began her pediatric specialty training at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Zakynthos and completed it at the Pediatric Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Patras "Karamanadaneio," where she participated in the Endocrinology and Neurology clinics, the Mediterranean Anemia Unit, and the Neonatal Unit. She was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Patras through the Panhellenic exams. After completing her studies, she moved to Germany in 2014, where she obtained the German Medical License to Practice (Approbation) and subsequently completed her residency in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. After obtaining the German board certification in Pediatrics in 2020, she continued her specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology at the University Pediatric Clinic of Universitätsklinikum OWL. In 2022, she acquired her specialization in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatric Diabetology following examinations from the German Medical Association of the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Ärztekammer Westfalen-Lippe). Dr. Avrami worked as the coordinator of the obesity department at the University Pediatric Clinic OWL and participated in the education of children with Diabetes Mellitus as well as their parents and teachers.
