Ο Δρ. Κασιμάτης Γεώργιος MD, PhD, FEBOT, FEBHS είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός με ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στο Νέο Ηράκλειο και το Μαρούσι. He initially specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Pyrgos "Andreas Papandreou," in Pediatric Orthopedics at the First Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic of the General Children's Hospital of Athens "P. & A. Kyriakou," and finally in General Orthopedics at the First University Orthopedic Clinic of the University General Hospital "Attikon." From 2014 to 2020, he was an Academic Fellow at the Laboratory for Research of Musculoskeletal Disorders "Th. Garofalidis," focusing on "Microsurgery" at the General Hospital of Attica KAT. He is the Deputy Director of the 8th Orthopedic Clinic at Metropolitan General and the Scientific Director of the Upper Limb - Microsurgery Clinic. Concurrently, he collaborates with several clinics within Attica. He has participated in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad, presenting poster presentations, oral communications, and lectures. Finally, he is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, the Hellenic Osteoporosis Foundation, and the Hellenic Society for Hand Surgery.

He is a graduate and PhD candidate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and he obtained a postgraduate degree in Metabolic Bone Diseases from the same university. He works as an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon in the Emergency Department of the Athens Medical Center in Marousi and concurrently collaborates with the Joint Reconstruction Clinic at the Athens Medical Center. His specialization focuses on total hip and knee arthroplasties, trauma, and osteoporosis. He has a substantial body of published work in both international and Greek scientific journals and books and has served as a reviewer for scientific articles in international journals. He closely follows advancements in his field and has participated in numerous conferences and seminars, many of which he attended as a speaker.
