Dr Spiliotopoulos Georgios is a graduate of Medical School and a PhD candidate in Orthopedics at the University of Patras. He specialized at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and further specialized in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and modern minimally invasive surgical corrective techniques (MIS). Since 2018, he has been a Forensic Orthopedic Expert (technical consultant) for major insurance companies. From 2015 to 2018, he was part of the medical team covering orthopedic concerns for the athletes of KAE AEK. Since 2013, he has provided medical coverage for the basketball team PROTEAS VOULAS and from 2015 to 2025 served as the medical provider for the athletes of the basketball team KAE AMAROUSIOU. From 2021 to 2023, he was the team physician for the WOMEN'S NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM, and from 2022 to 2024 for the team of PANIONIOS B.C. Previously, he was part of the medical team covering orthopedic needs of the athletes of KAE PANELLINIOS from 2008 to 2011 and the Cultural and Sports Center “DAIS.” Subsequently, from 2018 to 2022, he provided medical coverage to the athletes of MELLISION and since 2018 to the athletes of ESPEROS B.C. Finally, starting this year, he has been the medical provider for the amateur club PANATHINAIKOS A.O. He has attended specialized seminars/workshops in Traumatology, Microsurgery, and Arthroscopic Surgery both in Greece and abroad. Το 2026 εκπαιδεύτηκε επίσης με τη μορφή short- term fellowship σε χειρουργικές τεχνικές και επεμβάσεις για την αποκατάσταση πολύπλοκων παραμορφώσεων, εκφυλιστικών παθήσεων, πρωτοπαθών και δευτεροπαθών όγκων καθώς και λοιμώξεων της Σπονδυλικής Στήλης ενηλίκων στο Spine Neurosurgery Unit, Santa Casa de Porto Alegre, Hospital São José, στο Porto Alegre της Βραζιλίας.

Σήμερα, ο ιατρός εργάζεται ως Επιμελητής Ορθοπαιδικός- Χειρουργός Σπονδυλικής Στήλης στην Κλινική Σπονδυλικής Στήλης, Κέντρο Σκολίωσης, Τραύματος και Ογκολογίας Σπονδυλικής Στήλης, Eurospine Surgical Spine Centre of Excellence του Νοσοκομείου Metropolitan General στην Αθήνα. Συμμετέχει ενεργά σε εγχώρια και διεθνή συνέδρια καθώς και επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια και παράγει ερευνητικό έργο.
