Ο Λιόλιος Βασίλειος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελόκηπους. Κατά την επιστροφή του από την Μεγάλη Βρετανία το 2017, προσέφερε για ένα χρονικό διάστημα τις υπηρεσίες του ως εθελοντής οφθαλμίατρος στην μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση PRAKSIS στη Θεσσαλονίκη εξετάζοντας ευάλωτες ομάδες ασθενών με δυσκολία πρόσβασης στις υπηρεσίες υγείας. Τα τελευταία επτά χρόνια εργάστηκε ως επιμελητής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νέας Ιωνίας «Κωνσταντοπούλειο -Πατησίων» υπεύθυνος ιατρείου βυθού και οφθαλμικών φλεγμονών. Έχει δημοσιεύσεις σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά και πολυάριθμες συμμετοχές σε διεθνή και ελληνικά συνέδρια με ελεύθερες ανακοινώσεις και πόστερ καθώς και συμμετοχή σε ερευνητικό έργο.  Ο ιατρός έχει πραγματοποιήσει πλήθος χειρουργικών επεμβάσεων καταρράκτη, λέιζερ, ενδοϋαλοειδικών ενέσεων και μικροεπεμβάσεων.
