Kristi Magnisali is a specialist Cardiologist, graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with extensive and high-level scientific training in Internal Pathology and Cardiology. Her specialization was completed at leading tertiary care hospitals in Germany, including the University Hospital of Cologne (Uniklinik Köln) and the University Hospital of Düsseldorf (Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf), where she was trained in all modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods of Cardiology, with particular emphasis on Interventional Cardiology, Intensive Care, and Arrhythmology.
After completing her specialty, she served as a Specialist Cardiologist at the University Hospital of Düsseldorf, undertaking increased clinical and scientific responsibilities, including leadership of the Arrhythmia Clinic and supervision of the Echocardiography Laboratory. As part of her ongoing scientific development, she further specialized in the latest ultrasound techniques, such as dynamic echocardiography (stress echocardiography) with pharmacological stress and transesophageal echocardiography, significantly enhancing diagnostic accuracy in the investigation of complex cardiological diseases.
Possessing significant clinical and scientific work, she currently serves as an Attending Cardiologist at Metropolitan Hospital, integrated within the Clinic of Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Pacemaker Therapy, while simultaneously acting as a Scientific Collaborator at the 2nd University Clinic of the Children's Hospital “Aghia Sophia Kyriakou,” where she is active in the specialized field of Pediatric Cardiology, focusing on the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of congenital and acquired pediatric heart diseases.
