She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly in July 1997. After completing her rural service, she specialized in Pathology at the Pathology Clinic of Kastoria Hospital and at the 2nd Propaedeutic Pathology Clinic of Hippokration Hospital in Thessaloniki, obtaining her specialty certification in January 2006.

Ilias Kouslis is a General Practitioner - Family Physician and maintains a private practice in Nea Smyrni.
