Σήμερα εργάζεται ως Επιμελητής Οφθαλμίατρος στο Κέντρο Υγείας Σαλαμίνας και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Αθηνών «Παναγιώτη & Αγλαΐας Κυριακού», ενώ έχει αποκτήσει και διεθνή εμπειρία στο Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals του NHS στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία.

Παράλληλα συνεργάζεται με ιδιωτικές κλινικές της Αθήνας, πραγματοποιώντας επεμβάσεις καταρράκτη και διαθλαστικής χειρουργικής.

Η ιδιαίτερη εξειδίκευσή του στην παιδοοφθαλμολογία περιλαμβάνει την αντιμετώπιση στραβισμού, αμβλυωπίας και άλλων διαταραχών της παιδικής όρασης.

Στο πλαίσιο της διδακτορικής του διατριβής ασχολήθηκε για αρκετά χρόνια με τις παθήσεις της ωχράς κηλίδας σε ενήλικες, μελετώντας την κλινική πορεία των ασθενών, εφαρμόζοντας ενδοϋαλοειδικές ενέσεις και παρακολουθώντας τα θεραπευτικά αποτελέσματα.

Η κλινική και χειρουργική του δραστηριότητα επικεντρώνεται σήμερα στη χειρουργική καταρράκτη, στην παιδοοφθαλμολογία, καθώς και στις σύγχρονες θεραπείες παθήσεων της ωχράς κηλίδας.

Papadopoulos Leonidas is an Ophthalmic Surgeon, graduate of the Athens Medical School. He maintains a private practice in Kifisia, equipped with modern, high-tech ophthalmological instruments. He provides high-level ophthalmological services for both children and adults for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of ocular surface diseases, refractive errors (myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia), cataract, glaucoma, macular and retinal diseases. Ο Σαϊτάκης Γιώργος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος με ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στη Νέα Ερυθραία.
