Otolaryngologists (ENT)

Ο Δρ Δημήτρης Κοτζαμπασάκης, MD, PhD, MSc είναι Χειρουργός Ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος με ιδιαίτερη εξειδίκευση στη ρινολογία, την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική ρινός και τη λειτουργική και αισθητική ρινοπλαστική.

Είναι αριστούχος απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Semmelweis και αριστούχος διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Το 2017 ολοκλήρωσε με βαθμό Άριστα τη διδακτορική του διατριβή με τίτλο «Συμβολή στη μελέτη της ποιότητας ζωής ασθενών που υποβλήθηκαν σε ρινοπλαστική», η οποία διερεύνησε την επίδραση της ρινοπλαστικής στη λειτουργικότητα, την ψυχολογία και τη συνολική ποιότητα ζωής των ασθενών.

Το διάστημα 09/2025– 02/2026 συμμετείχε στο διδακτικό έργο του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών ως εντεταλμένος διδάσκων, διδάσκοντας το μάθημα «Νευροηθική και σύγχρονη Ιατρική πράξη», ενώ συνεχίζει να συμμετέχει ενεργά σε επιστημονικές δραστηριότητες και συνέδρια.

Η ιατρική του εκπαίδευση ξεκίνησε με ειδίκευση στη Γενική Χειρουργική σε μεγάλα νοσοκομεία της Αθήνας και στη συνέχεια συνέχισε την ειδικότητά του στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία ενηλίκων και παίδων, αποκτώντας εμπειρία στη διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση επειγόντων και χρόνιων ΩΡΛ παθήσεων. Σημαντικό μέρος της εκπαίδευσής του πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Κωνσταντοπούλειο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Πεντέλης, όπου εξειδικεύτηκε στη διαχείριση ΩΡΛ περιστατικών παιδιών.

Παράλληλα ανέπτυξε ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για την πλαστική χειρουργική του προσώπου και τη ρινοπλαστική. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό συνεργάστηκε με τον πλαστικό χειρουργό Σ. Κοτζαμπασάκης, αποκτώντας σημαντική εμπειρία στις τεχνικές λειτουργικής και αισθητικής αποκατάστασης της ρινός.

Στη συνέχεια εξειδικεύτηκε στη ρινολογία και την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική των παραρρινίων κόλπων, παρακολουθώντας σειρά μετεκπαιδευτικών σεμιναρίων και χειρουργικών workshops στην Ελλάδα, στην Ευρώπη και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 34 μετεκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα, παρακολουθώντας συνεχώς τις εξελίξεις της ειδικότητάς του.

Από το 2004 έως σήμερα έχει πραγματοποιήσει περισσότερες από 3.500 ρινολογικές επεμβάσεις και επεμβάσεις λειτουργικής ρινοπλαστικής, με έμφαση στη βελτίωση της ρινικής αναπνοής και της αισθητικής αρμονίας του προσώπου.

Το 2021 ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Διοίκηση Μονάδων Υγείας στο Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο. Παράλληλα έχει αναπτύξει επιστημονική δραστηριότητα με δημοσιεύσεις σε ελληνικά και διεθνή περιοδικά και ανακοινώσεις σε συνέδρια.

Είναι συγγραφέας στο επιστημονικό βιβλίο «Ερωτήσεις – Απαντήσεις Ρινολογίας», ενώ έχει συμμετάσχει σε περισσότερα από 30 εθνικά και διεθνή επιστημονικά συνέδρια.

Είναι μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών, της European Rhinologic Society, της European Rhinoplasty Society και της Πανελλήνιας Εταιρείας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας – Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου.

Διαθέτει άδεια άσκησης ιατρικού επαγγέλματος στην Ελλάδα, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και στη Νορβηγία.

Σήμερα διατηρεί ιδιωτικά ιατρεία σε Κηφισιά και Κρυονέρι και πραγματοποιεί χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις σε μεγάλα ιδιωτικά νοσοκομεία, όπως το Ιατρικό Αθηνών, το ΜΗΤΕΡΑ και το Διαβαλκανικό Θεσσαλονίκης, εφαρμόζοντας σύγχρονες τεχνικές και εξατομικευμένες θεραπευτικές προσεγγίσεις για κάθε ασθενή.

Mariolis Lampros is an Otolaryngologist who maintains a private practice in Korydallos. He collaborates with the First ENT Clinic - Head and Neck Surgery at Metropolitan General and the ENT Clinics of the "Mitera" and "IASO" Hospitals. Additionally, he is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated with distinction – a grade of 8.2 – from the School of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Catania in Italy. He has also undergone specialized training in Otolaryngology at Pinderfields General Hospital in Wakefield, United Kingdom. He has one Greek publication, participates in research protocols, scientific papers and presentations, and continuously stays updated on the latest developments in his field through specialized courses abroad, national conferences, and targeted seminars, thereby acquiring comprehensive expertise and continuing education. Finally, Dr. Lampros is a member of the Piraeus Medical Association, the Panhellenic Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the Hellenic Rhinologic Society – Facial Plastic Surgery, as well as the General Medical Council.

Askiti Maria is an Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Kato Toumba, Thessaloniki, while also serving as a collaborator at Euromedica General Clinic of Thessaloniki. She graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and specialized in Otolaryngology at the University Hospital of Larissa. Additionally, she received surgical training at the General Hospital of Serres. Previously, she served as an Assistant Physician at the University Hospital of Larissa. Konstantaras Nikolaos is a Surgical Otolaryngologist who has maintained a private practice in Kifisia since 1994. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a graduate of the same Medical School. He specialized in Otolaryngology at the University ENT Clinic of Patras and has received further training in Otolaryngologic Allergy, the use of Laser and Radiofrequency in Otolaryngology, Endoscopic Surgery of the Nose and Paranasal Sinuses, Otologic Surgery, and Facial Aesthetics. He performs surgery for all ENT conditions requiring intervention and, since 1988, has operated on more than 3,000 patients. Furthermore, he has authored over 50 scientific papers presented at national or European conferences or published in Greek and European scientific journals, has attended more than 80 seminars and conferences, and has participated as a speaker and instructor in 7 of them.

Sotirios D. Karamagkiolas was admitted to the Medical School of Ioannina through the Panhellenic Examinations, where he obtained his degree in 2007. He began his specialization in Otolaryngology in 2013 at the A’ University Otolaryngology Clinic (General Hospital of Athens “Hippocrates”). During his residency, he simultaneously trained in Plastic Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Gennimatas". Additionally, he completed his doctoral thesis (PhD) on laryngeal cancer. After completing his residency, he remained at “Hippocrates,” gaining experience in head and neck surgeries. Subsequently, he worked for approximately two years as an assistant ENT specialist at the General Hospital "Tzaneio." In 2019, he started and completed a specialization/master's degree in Rhinology. In 2020, he was appointed at the University General Hospital "ATTIKON" as a Second Consultant, where he advanced to the position of First Consultant, which he currently holds. Furthermore, he has published in internationally recognized medical journals (PUBMED) and contributed to the authorship of books. Finally, he has actively participated in numerous medical conferences with lectures, chairmanships, presentations, and posters, as well as in postgraduate and specialist training courses for residents and graduate students.

Maxaira Asimina is an Adult and Pediatric Otolaryngologist Surgeon with a private practice in Cholargos. She holds a PhD from the University of Padua, Italy, and graduated from the Medical School of the same university. She trained in General Surgery at the Penteli Children's General Hospital, in Pediatric ENT at the Children's General Hospital "Agia Sophia," and in Adult ENT at the Athens Thoracic Diseases General Hospital "Sotiria." During her training, she focused on ENT disorders of neonates, children, and adults. She worked in the respective audiology departments for the diagnosis and management of hearing loss and vertigo. Komis Agis PhD, FEBORL - HNS is an Otorhinolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon, Deputy Director of ENT at Metropolitan General and maintains a private practice in Neo Iraklio. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a dissertation focused on the contribution of otoacoustic emissions to the study of patients with tinnitus. He graduated from the same university and completed his specialty in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University ENT Clinic of the "Attikon" University Hospital. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that following Pan-European examinations, he was admitted to the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, attaining the title Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (FEBORL-HNS). His continuing education also includes advanced training at the University ENT Clinic of Geneva and participation in numerous surgical courses abroad. The physician’s extensive experience includes long-standing collaboration with Metropolitan General, where he serves as Deputy Director, as well as work with other leading private clinics. Euaggelos Gouviotis is an Otolaryngologist who maintains private clinics in Kolonaki, Kypseli, and Chalkida. He graduated from medical school with honors and served as a rural doctor in northern Evia - Istiaia. He trained in general surgery at the General Hospital of Chalkida and obtained his specialty board certification at the Navy Medical Training Center (NMTS). Aggelis Xristos A. is an Otolaryngologist who maintains a private practice in Chalandri. He holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialized in Otolaryngology at the Otolaryngology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos," the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko," and the Naval Hospital of Athens. Additionally, he specializes in pediatric otolaryngology and manages cases such as childhood hearing loss and secretory otitis media. Euaggelou Ioannis is an Otolaryngologist with a private practice in Peristeri. He holds a medical degree from the Military Officers School of Corps and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In his private practice in Peristeri, he offers specialized services for the treatment of all otorhinolaryngological conditions, such as rhinitis, sinusitis, epistaxis, nasal fractures, nasal polyps, vertigo, diseases of the vocal cords and larynx, sleep apnea, among others. Additionally, he performs examinations such as audiograms and tympanograms, complete audiological testing, ear endoscopy with digital recording, and endoscopic examination of the nose and nasopharynx. Antoniadis Ioannis is an Otolaryngologist (ENT) who maintains a private practice in Kavala. Upon completing his medical studies, he specialized in Otolaryngology at the 2nd University Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at Papageorgiou Hospital. Additionally, he specialized in Sleep Medicine at Democritus University of Thrace. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και το 2017 έλαβε τον τίτλο Ιατρικής Ειδικότητας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου.

Gantas Konstantinos is an Otolaryngologist who maintains a private practice in Thermi, Thessaloniki. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras and holds a specialist title in Otolaryngology Surgery from the University Otolaryngology Clinic of the University General Hospital of Larissa. During his training, he developed a research interest in the study of patients presenting symptoms of snoring, as well as sleep apnea syndrome, and has gained significant experience in endoscopic examination and endoscopic surgery in both children and adults. In 2020, he completed his six-year specialization in Otolaryngology at the 2nd University ENT Clinic of "Attikon" Hospital and in the Pediatric ENT Clinic of the Children's Hospital of Patras "Karamandaneio".

After obtaining his specialty title, he worked for two years as a Senior Registrar at the ENT Clinic of Kalamata General Hospital, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis as well as the conservative and surgical management of the full spectrum of ENT pathology.

Since 2023, he has been affiliated with the private hospitals Iaso (General Clinic - Pediatrics) and Mitera (3rd Pediatric ENT Clinic), while since June 2024 he has also been a Consultant at the ENT Clinic of Iaso.

Finally, he is fluent in English and has numerous participations and presentations/posters at Greek and European conferences, numerous publications in international medical journals and collective volumes, as well as a wealth of work and presentations as part of the training he provided to junior ENT specialists at the University Hospital "Attikon" and Kalamata General Hospital clinics.
