He also presented rare clinical cases, such as unilateral keratosis obturans in a 12-year-old boy and hearing manifestations in Wolfram syndrome.In the same year, he participated in the 24th ENT Educational Conference with presentations on the training of ENT residents and the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for sudden sensorineural hearing loss. In 2019, he presented a large cystic lesion of the maxilla involving eight teeth at the 19th Seminar of the Hellenic Rhinologic Society. Sotirios D. Karamagkiolas was admitted to the Medical School of Ioannina through the Panhellenic Examinations, where he obtained his degree in 2007. He began his specialization in Otolaryngology in 2013 at the A’ University Otolaryngology Clinic (General Hospital of Athens “Hippocrates”). During his residency, he simultaneously trained in Plastic Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Gennimatas". Additionally, he completed his doctoral thesis (PhD) on laryngeal cancer.
