Maxinis Theofilos is a Neurosurgeon, Director of Minimally Invasive Brain and Spinal Surgery, and Director of the Cerebrovascular Disease Center at Metropolitan General. He maintains private practices in Cholargos and Chania. He graduated from the Medical School of the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and completed his Neurosurgery residency at the University Hospital of Richmond, Virginia, one of the leading neurosurgical centers in the United States. Additionally, he trained in advanced techniques for spinal and brain disorders, with an emphasis on minimally invasive and endovascular methods, including aneurysm embolization, stenting, and thrombectomy. Currently, alongside his directorial role and private practices, he serves as an Assistant Professor at Richmond in the USA, where, in addition to teaching, he performs surgical procedures. Furthermore, he is a member of numerous scientific societies, both Greek and international.
