Professor Gousias Konstantinos is an internationally recognized Neurosurgeon specializing in brain and spinal cord tumor surgery, as well as endoscopic and minimally invasive spinal surgery. He maintains a private practice in Marousi. During his 17-year successful career in Germany, he held leadership positions at leading university/academic clinics (Marburg, Bochum, Münster), and has been awarded the title of Professor of Neurosurgery by the Universities of Bonn and Münster in Germany, the European University, and the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. He is a certified expert by the German Neurosurgical Academy in neuro-oncological surgery, neurosurgery under neuro-monitoring and fluorescence-guided techniques, and holds a Master Certification in spinal surgery from the German and European Spine Societies. His surgical experience includes over 4,000 brain procedures, with more than 1,200 brain and spinal cord tumor surgeries performed in the last six years, as well as over 1,800 spinal surgeries, with a special emphasis on endoscopic techniques. He has an extensive research portfolio, with over 60 scientific publications in international journals, more than 3,500 citations, active participation in multicenter studies, and has been selected as a member of the 15-member Oncology Surgery Committee of the European Neurosurgical Society and as a trainer for brain tumor surgical techniques by the European Society of Neuro-Oncology. His clinic is the only neurosurgical clinic in Greece recognized as a Research and Treatment Institute for brain tumors by the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC).
