Ziozia Vasiliki is a General Surgeon, Senior Registrar of the 1st Surgical Clinic at IASO and maintains a private practice in Nea Irakleio. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master's degree in "Surgical Anatomy" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Dr. Ziozia has received a scholarship from the Hellenic Surgical Society to obtain her postgraduate degree, as well as a scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Coloproctology for specialization in colorectal and anal surgery at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. She initially specialized in Surgery at the General Hospital of Rethymno and subsequently at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." During 2022-23, she served as a Senior Clinical Fellow in the Colorectal Department at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Dr. Ziozia has participated in numerous conferences, seminars, and courses and has authored many publications, as well as oral and poster presentations. Finally, she is a member of the Hellenic Society of Coloproctology.

Tzatzarakis Emmanouil is a General Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon, PhD holder from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. In 2008, he was admitted to the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which he graduated in 2014 with an excellent degree (8.8). After graduation, he moved to Germany, where he began his training in the specialty of General Surgery at the University Clinic of Mannheim, completing it in 2021. He continued to work at the same clinic as a Senior Registrar II until 2024, with a special focus on laparoscopic repair of abdominal wall hernias. In 2022, he completed his doctoral dissertation at the University of Heidelberg, earning the title of Doctor (Dr. med.). From 2024 until June 2025, he worked as a Senior Registrar I at the Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Center of Marienhaus Klinikum in Mainz, Germany, where he performed approximately 200 thyroid and parathyroid surgeries and participated in over 500 in total. In June 2025, he relocated to his wife’s hometown, Kalamata, together with her and their two children, beginning his professional activity in Greece.

Ειδικεύτηκε στη Γενική Χειρουργική στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αττικής "Σισμανόγλειο" και στο Digestive Disease Center του Cleveland Clinic της Florida των ΗΠΑ με υποτροφία της Ελληνικής Χειρουργικής Εταιρείας. Είναι Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Είναι Fellow μετά από κρίση του American College of Surgeons (ACS) και του American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS). Έχει διατελέσει εκπρόσωπος των νέων χειρουργών παχέος εντέρου και ορθού της Ευρώπης στην Επιτροπή Μελών του European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP). Έχει εκπαιδευτεί στο Μιλάνο και στη Βιέννη στις τεχνικές TransAnal Minimally Invasive Surgery (TAMIS) και σε όλες τις νεότερες τεχνικές αντιμετώπισης περιεδρικών συριγγίων αντίστοιχα. Το ερευνητικό του ενδιαφέρον αφορά κυρίως τον καρκίνο του ορθού, τη χειρουργική υπό φθορίζουσες ουσίες και τα μεσο-μακροπρόθεσμα αποτελέσματα της λαπαροσκοπικής και ρομποτικής χειρουργικής στις παθήσεις παχέος εντέρου και ορθού. Έχει διατελέσει υπεύθυνος για την Ελλάδα σε περισσότερες από 10 διεθνείς πολυκεντρικές μελέτες με τις αντίστοιχες δημοσιεύσεις σε περιοδικά μεγάλου κύρους όπως τα Lancet, Anaesthesia και British Journal of Surgery. Είναι κριτής σε 11 περιοδικά χειρουργικής και μέλος του εκδοτικού συμβουλίου στα Nature Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Surgery και Colorectal Disease. Έχει συγγράψει πάνω από 120 άρθρα-δημοσιεύσεις σε ξενόγλωσσα περιοδικά με περισσότερες από 2500 αναφορές. Επίσης έχει συμμετάσχει ως ομιλητής σε περισσότερα από 20 Ελληνικά και Διεθνή Συνέδρια και έχει γράψει 2 κεφάλαια συγγραμμάτων χειρουργικής.

Pantelis Athanasios MD, MSc (QMUL), FMBS, SCOPE Cert., FACS, is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Ilion. He specializes in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and holds two postgraduate degrees from Queen Mary University of London and the Medical School of Athens. He has received specialized training in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery as well as in obesity and metabolic disease surgery, having trained at the prestigious Mohak centers in India and Ponderas in Romania as a fellow of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES). He has gained experience in hospitals in Greece and abroad, having served as a Consultant Surgeon in hospitals in Bucharest and India. Currently, he is a Consultant Surgeon at the Psychiko Medical Center and a Scientific Collaborator at the 1st Propaedeutic Surgical Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippocrates." He maintains an active research portfolio, is an author and reviewer for international medical journals, and regularly participates in international conferences and educational programs. His expertise includes minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopic surgery), bariatric and metabolic disease surgery, as well as the modern management of abdominal wall hernias, digestive system diseases, and thyroid gland disorders.
