General practitioners (GPs) in Prefecture of Dodecanese

Dr Kapitsimadis Fragkiskos is a General Practitioner and operates two private clinics located at Kifisias Avenue 119 and Solomou Dionysiou Street 22 in Marousi. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a dissertation titled "The effects of atmospheric pollution on the respiratory system of postal workers: A study in the Attica basin." He specialized in General Medicine at the General State Hospital of Athens and holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Additionally, Dr Kapitsimadis was awarded the Environmental Sensitivity Award in the category of "scientific study" during the Oikopolis 2010 event.

Dr. Nikolaos Kostakis is a General Practitioner with extensive professional experience in both Greece and abroad. He began his medical career in 2008 as a rural doctor at the Health Center of Siteia. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a private physician at the "Cretan Medi Help" Medical Center in Heraklion, and in 2010, he continued his private practice at the "Asklipieion of Crete" private clinic. Between 2010 and 2011, he served as a rural doctor fulfilling his mandatory service at the Regional Clinic of Menetes in Karpathos. In 2013–2014, he gained international experience as a resident in General Practice at the "FLEN" Health Center in Sweden, and he completed his residency in Greece at the University General Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) from 2014 to 2017. Since 2017, he has been serving as a General Practitioner at the 1st Local Health Unit (TOMY) in Heraklion, and since 2025, he also maintains a private medical practice in the same city. He holds a medical degree from the Second University of Naples in Italy.  

Zormpas Vasileios is a Pathologist and maintains a private practice in Nafpaktos. He studied at the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and subsequently served as a rural service physician at the General Hospital of Messolonghi - Health Center of Nafpaktos - Regional Clinic of Platanos. He specialized in Pathology at the University General Hospital of Patras and received further training in Clinical Hepatology following participation in the 16th school of the Hellenic Association for the Study of the Liver.

Dr. Kavaratzis Kyriakos is a Specialist in Internal Medicine and has maintained a Private Practice in Alexandroupolis since 2008. He graduated from the Medical School of Plovdiv University and obtained the title of Specialist in Internal Medicine after completing his specialization at the State and A University Internal Medicine Clinic of the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis, the outpatient clinic for diabetes and obesity, and a concurrent 3-month training in Oncology, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiology, and the Emergency Department. Simultaneously, he has worked as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at I.K.A. Alexandroupolis for 2 years, for 4 years at K.A.P.I. Alexandroupolis, and for 1 year at the Migrant Center in Komotini.

Papaxatzakis Ioannis is an Intensivist and Internist who maintains a private practice in Glyfada. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras, specialized in Internal Medicine with postgraduate studies and is a PhD candidate. He works as a Senior Registrar in the ICU of the Errikos Dynan Hospital Center.
