Polykseni Kalisperati is a Gastroenterologist with extensive clinical experience and a strong academic/research background, aiming to provide comprehensive and personalized care to each patient at her private practice. She is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a PhD from the Medical School of Athens.
She currently serves as an Assistant Gastroenterology Consultant B’ at the General Hospital of Athens "ELPIS," having also trained and worked for several years at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" (University Gastroenterology Clinic & Clinic of Pathological Physiology), gaining extensive experience across the full spectrum of modern Gastroenterology. She places special emphasis on interventional endoscopy, digestive oncology, neuroendocrine tumors, gastrointestinal infections (with a specialization in H. pylori), and gastrointestinal immunology/gastrointestinal manifestations of autoimmune diseases.
Additionally, she actively participates in scientific publications in international journals and is a regular speaker at conferences. She also maintains an educational role in Pathological Physiology at the Medical School of Athens, contributing to the teaching of undergraduate students.
