Dr. Athiana Ilektra is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and maintains her private practice in Thessaloniki. She studied Medicine at Democritus University of Thrace. Subsequently, she specialized in Pediatrics in Sweden and further specialized in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University Hospitals of Uppsala in Sweden as well as Basel in Switzerland. She has served as Senior Registrar A in the Pediatric Gastroenterology Clinic at the Pediatric University Hospital of Uppsala and also has professional experience as an assistant physician in the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the same University Hospital. She collaborates with the Saint Lukas Clinic, the General Clinic of Thessaloniki, and is a Scientific Associate of the 3rd Pediatric Clinic of Aristotle University (Hippokration Hospital of Thessaloniki). He served as a rural doctor in the region of Grevena and fulfilled his military duties as a medical officer in the healthcare service. He worked as an unpaid collaborator in the Gastroenterology Department of the General Clinic Euromedica. He specialized in Pathology at the General Hospital of Edessa, while simultaneously collaborating with the Endoscopy Department of the hospital. As a salaried associate in the Gastroenterology Department of the General Clinic Euromedica, he performed a large number of interventional procedures daily (under the direction of the Head of the Gastroenterology Department, Alexandros Kofokotsios). At the same time, he conducted on-call shifts in the Pathology Department of the General Clinic Euromedica (under the direction of Professor Athanasios Dimitriadis). For four years, he specialized in Gastroenterology at the Thessaloniki General Hospital "Hippokration" in the 2nd Propaedeutic Internal Medicine University Clinic, successfully undertaking numerous endoscopic procedures (both diagnostic and interventional). Dr. Pappas Vasileios is a Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist specialized at the General Hospital of Attica Sismanoglio. His clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art endoscopes and a video processor (Full HD) with digital chromoendoscopy capability (for the detection of early lesions of the upper and lower digestive system), as well as modern disinfection and sterilization equipment. Παράλληλα είναι συνεργάτης του Γαστρεντερολογικού Τμήματος του Νοσοκομείου Ερρίκος Ντυνάν , όπου διενεργεί όλες τις απαραίτητες ενδοσκοπικές πράξεις : Γαστροσκόπηση με λήψη βιοψιών ,κολονοσκόπηση , πολυποδεκτομή , ορθοσιγμοειδοσκόπηση , τοποθέτηση γαστροστομίας και άλλα. Το 2020 ολοκλήρωσε επιτυχώς μετά από γραπτές εξετάσεις την παρακολούθηση του 13 ου Σχολείου Κλινικής Ηπατολογίας, το οποίο διοργανώνεται από την Ελληνική Εταιρία Μελέτης Ήπατος. Επιπρόσθετα, το 2021 παρακολούθησε επιτυχώς το Ενδοσκοπικό Σχολείο, υπό την αιγίδα της Ελληνικής Γαστρεντερολογικής Εταιρείας. Το 2022 έλαβε τον τίτλο της Ιατρικής Ειδικότητας της Γαστρεντερολογίας – Ηπατολογίας. Από το 2022 έως το 2025 συνέχισε να εργάζεται στη Γαστρεντερολογική κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών "Γ.ΓΕΝΝΗΜΑΤΑΣ". Η ιατρός μέσα από της πολυετή θητεία της στο μεγαλύτερο νοσοκομείο της Αττικής απέκτησε μεγάλη εμπειρία στη διαχείριση ευρέως φάσματος σύνθετων γαστρεντερολογικών και ηπατολογικών περιστατικών. Παράλληλα, επιτέλεσε πολυάριθμες ενδοσκοπικές πράξεις.
