Vassos Georgios is a Clinical Psychologist - Psychotherapist with a private practice in Kolonaki and a trainee Psychoanalyst. He holds a degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is specialized with a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Clinical Psychology from the same University. Additionally, he has been trained in programs concerning clinical intervention in mental health, psychoanalysis, and psychoanalytic psychotherapy in Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as in educational programs related to psychopathology and psychodiagnostic assessment of personality, mental, and cognitive functions of adults and adolescents at the Faculties of Medicine and Psychology of the University of Athens. He possesses certified training in the use of various psychometric tools and has extensive clinical experience regarding difficulties in relationship and emotion management, depressive disorders, personality-related issues, anxiety, and more in public and private facilities. He is the Scientific Director of the Mobile Unit of the Northeastern Cyclades of E.P.A.P.S.Y., a member of the Panhellenic Network of Mobile Units, and has previously worked in various public and private mental health facilities, such as Aeginiteio Hospital, Penteli Children's General Hospital, Attica Psychiatric Hospital Dafni, various municipalities in Attica, among others. He organizes and participates in programs and actions of community psychiatry. He has extensive authorship, research activity, and publications at national and international conferences as a regular presenter in seminars and lectures. In his private practice, he provides specialized services related to psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults, counseling, intervention in mental health difficulties, and psychodiagnostic assessment.
