Vardavas Euripidis is an Ophthalmologist and Scientific Director of the Diavgeia Eye Center. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After completing his mandatory rural service at the Infectious Diseases Hospital of Athens, he specialized in Ophthalmology at the Athens Polyclinic and the Athens Eye Clinic. Subsequently, he attended numerous seminars and medical conferences abroad for several years in order to gain further expertise in contact lens application. He has been involved in contact lens fitting, specifically for keratoconus, since 1973. For this reason, he is considered one of the first and, simultaneously, most experienced contact lens fitters in Greece, having performed over 70,000 fittings throughout his career to date. Additionally, he has contributed to the authorship of a significant number of papers and has spoken at conferences regarding contact lens application following cataract surgery in neonates and children. Furthermore, he has been the main speaker at conferences on myopia correction using Paragon lenses. In 1995, he founded the model Diavgeia Eye Center, which is now considered one of the leading clinics of its kind in Greece. Simultaneously, he collaborates with the Hypapanti Ophthalmology Clinic for cataract surgeries as well as with the Athens Eye Center for Excimer Laser surgeries. Finally, the doctor is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Ophthalmological Society.
