Στη διάρκεια της ειδικότητάς της στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg, κέντρο αναφοράς παιδιών με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren ξεκίνησε το διδακτορικό της με θέμα «Η χορήγηση αναισθησίας στα παιδιά με σύνδρομο Williams Beuren: παράγοντες κινδύνου κι επιπλοκές». Το 2018 απέκτησε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας της παιδιατρικής. Συνέχισε να εργάζεται στο Helios Klinikum Duisburg ως επιμελήτρια (Funktionsoberärztin) έως και το 2020. Έχει υπάρξει υπεύθυνη προσαρμογής ειδικευομένων στην κλινική κι εκπρόσωπός τους. Έχει διεξάγει μαθήματα για τους εκπαιδευόμενους νοσηλευτές και παρουσιάσεις για τους παιδιάτρους.
