Ο Δρ. Περικλής Παπαευθυμίου είναι Χειρουργός Ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος Ενηλίκων και Παίδων. Ειδικεύθηκε και εξειδικεύθηκε επί εννέα συναπτά έτη σε κορυφαία κέντρα της Γερμανίας, όπου πραγματοποίησε με επιτυχία χιλιάδες χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις σε ενηλίκους και παιδιά, επίσημα καταγεγραμμένες σύμφωνα με το γερμανικό σύστημα καταγραφής επεμβάσεων. Εξειδικεύτηκε στην χειρουργική αμυγδαλών και αδενοειδών εκβλαστήσεων (κρεατάκια), τη χειρουργική του ρινικού διαφράγματος, την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική παραρρινίων κόλπων (FESS - Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), την χειρουργική των υπερτροφικών ρινικών κογχών με ραδιοσυχνότητες, την συντηρητική και χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση Ρινορραγίας, την αντιμετώπιση του Ροχαλητού και της Υπνικής Άπνοιας, την Ρινοπλαστική, την Ωτοπλαστική, τη χειρουργική θεραπεία παθήσεων των σιελογόνων αδένων, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην αφαίρεση όγκων παρωτίδας με διεγχηρητικό έλεγχο και διατήρηση του προσωπικού νεύρου, την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική λάρυγγα/φωνητικών χορδών, καθώς και την χειρουργική θεραπεία δερματικών όγκων της περιοχής του προσώπου και ιδιαίτερα του ωτικού πτερυγίου και της ρινός. Είναι κάτοχος του γερμανικού Τίτλου Ειδικότητας στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία, τον οποίο κατέκτησε μετά την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος εκπαίδευσης για την Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία στα νοσοκομεία Universitätsklinikum Essen και Prosper Hospital Recklinghausen και μετά από επιτυχείς εξετάσεις ιατρικής ειδικότητας στον Ιατρικό Σύλλογο Westfalen-Lippe (Münster). Διετέλεσε Επιμελητής Α’ στην Κλινική Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής & Τραχήλου του φημισμένου Prosper Hospital Γερμανίας. Οι επιστημονικές εργασίες του έχουν δημοσιευτεί στην διεθνή βιβλιογραφία. Στο διδακτικό του έργο περιλαμβάνεται η δραστηριότητά του ως εισηγητής στο προκλινικό μάθημα κλινικής εξέτασης της Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας για τους Φοιτητές Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Duisburg-Essen της Γερμανίας. Είναι Μέλος της Γερμανικής Εταιρίας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου, Μέλος της Ελληνικής Ρινολογικής Εταιρίας και Μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών.
