Έχει ειδικευθεί στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νέας Ιωνίας-Πατησίων "Αγία Όλγα - Κωνσταντοπούλειο" όπου έλαβε εμπειρία κλινικής εξέτασης και χειρουργικής αντιμετώπισης πληθώρας περιστατικών σε όλο το φάσμα της ΩΡΛ και πραγματοποίησε Honorary Observership in Rhinology-Rhinosurgery στο Νοσοκομείο Guys &Thomas του Λονδίνου όπου έλαβε εξειδικευμένες γνώσεις για Ρινοπλαστική, Διαφραγματοπλαστικη και Ενδοσκοπική Χειρουργική Παραρρινιων (FESS). Μετά από επιτυχείς ευρωπαϊκες εξετάσεις κατέχει τον Πανευρωπαϊκό τίτλο Fellow of European Board of ORL-HNS.

Από το 2018 μέχρι και σήμερα είναι Επιμελήτρια ΩΡΛ Χειρουργός- Επιστημονική Συνεργάτης του Νοσοκομείου ΥΓΕΙΑ και έχει πραγματοποιήσει μεγάλο αριθμό επεμβάσεων Διαφραγματοπλαστικης, Λειτουργικής Ρινοπλαστικης , Αμυγδαλών, Τυμπανοπλαστικης, Ενδοσκοπικής Παραρρινιων, Φωνητικών Χορδών, , Παρωτιδεκτομής κτλ

Με σκοπό τη συνεχιζόμενη κατάρτησή της λαμβάνει μέρος σε πλήθος πανελλήνιων και διεθνών συνεδρίων ως ομιλήτρια αλλά και ως εκπαιδεύτρια instructor σε εκπαιδευτικά χειρουργικά σεμινάρια course με εξειδίκευση στη Ρινοπλαστική και την Ενδοσκοπική Χειρουργική Παραρρινίων και Διαφράγματος. Τέλος, αριθμεί πολλές δημοσιεύσεις και είναι μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρείας ΩΡΛ (Fellow of the European Board of ORL-HNS), της Ευρωπαϊκής Ρινολογικής Εταιρείας (ERS member), της Ελληνικής Ρινολογικής Εταιρείας και της Πανελλήνιας Εταιρείας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας και Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής Τραχήλου.

Ο Δρ. Περικλής Παπαευθυμίου είναι Χειρουργός Ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος Ενηλίκων και Παίδων. Ειδικεύθηκε και εξειδικεύθηκε επί εννέα συναπτά έτη σε κορυφαία κέντρα της Γερμανίας, όπου πραγματοποίησε με επιτυχία χιλιάδες χειρουργικές επεμβάσεις σε ενηλίκους και παιδιά, επίσημα καταγεγραμμένες σύμφωνα με το γερμανικό σύστημα καταγραφής επεμβάσεων. Εξειδικεύτηκε στην χειρουργική αμυγδαλών και αδενοειδών εκβλαστήσεων (κρεατάκια), τη χειρουργική του ρινικού διαφράγματος, την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική παραρρινίων κόλπων (FESS - Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), την χειρουργική των υπερτροφικών ρινικών κογχών με ραδιοσυχνότητες, την συντηρητική και χειρουργική αντιμετώπιση Ρινορραγίας, την αντιμετώπιση του Ροχαλητού και της Υπνικής Άπνοιας, την Ρινοπλαστική, την Ωτοπλαστική, τη χειρουργική θεραπεία παθήσεων των σιελογόνων αδένων, με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην αφαίρεση όγκων παρωτίδας με διεγχηρητικό έλεγχο και διατήρηση του προσωπικού νεύρου, την ενδοσκοπική χειρουργική λάρυγγα/φωνητικών χορδών, καθώς και την χειρουργική θεραπεία δερματικών όγκων της περιοχής του προσώπου και ιδιαίτερα του ωτικού πτερυγίου και της ρινός. Είναι κάτοχος του γερμανικού Τίτλου Ειδικότητας στην Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία, τον οποίο κατέκτησε μετά την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος εκπαίδευσης για την Ωτορινολαρυγγολογία στα νοσοκομεία Universitätsklinikum Essen και Prosper Hospital Recklinghausen και μετά από επιτυχείς εξετάσεις ιατρικής ειδικότητας στον Ιατρικό Σύλλογο Westfalen-Lippe (Münster). Διετέλεσε Επιμελητής Α’ στην Κλινική Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής & Τραχήλου του φημισμένου Prosper Hospital Γερμανίας. Οι επιστημονικές εργασίες του έχουν δημοσιευτεί στην διεθνή βιβλιογραφία. Στο διδακτικό του έργο περιλαμβάνεται η δραστηριότητά του ως εισηγητής στο προκλινικό μάθημα κλινικής εξέτασης της Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας για τους Φοιτητές Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Duisburg-Essen της Γερμανίας. Είναι Μέλος της Γερμανικής Εταιρίας Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής και Τραχήλου, Μέλος της Ελληνικής Ρινολογικής Εταιρίας και Μέλος του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών. Στο ιατρείο του στο Περιστέρι, με τον πιο σύγχρονο εξοπλισμό, παρέχει ολοκληρωμένες υπηρεσίες Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας συνδυάζοντας επιστημονική ακρίβεια και εξατομικευμένη φροντίδα. Στο ιατρείο λειτουργεί υπερσύγχρονο Εργαστήριο Βίντεο-Ενδοσκοπήσεων Ενηλίκων και Παίδων με Βίντεο-Καταγραφή, εξοπλισμένο με την τελευταία λέξη της τεχνολογίας σε εύκαμπτα και άκαμπτα ενδοσκόπια. Είναι εξοπλισμένο με ειδικό παιδιατρικό ενδοσκόπιο για τη διερεύνηση των παιδιατρικών ασθενών σε παθήσεις όπως η υπερτροφία των αδενοειδών εκβλαστήσεων (κρεατάκια) και η ωτίτιδα. Η Βίντεο-Ενδοσκόπηση επιτρέπει λεπτομερή διερεύνηση παθήσεων όπως το σκολιωτικό (στραβό) ρινικό διαφράγμα, οι ρινικοί πολύποδες, η ιγμορίτιδα, η αλλεργική ρινίτιδα, η υπερτροφία των ρινικών κογχών, το βράχος φωνής, η φαρυγγίτιδα, η λαρυγγίτιδα και οι διαταραχές κατάποσης. Η προβολή της ενδοσκοπικής εικόνας σε Οθόνη High Definition 43´ ιντσών διευκολύνει την αναλυτική ενημέρωση του ασθενούς επί των ευρημάτων καθώς και τον σχεδιασμό της κατάλληλης θεραπείας. Η εξέταση των Ώτων στο ιατρείο καθώς και ο καθαρισμός γίνονται με τη χρήση ειδικού Μικροσκοπίου, το οποίο επιτρέπει στον ιατρό την λεπτομερή εξέταση καθώς και τον καθαρισμό χωρίς ενόχληση για τον ασθενή. Το ιατρείο διαθέτει σύγχρονο ψηφιακό Ακοογράφο και Τυμπανογράφο για τη διενέργεια ελέγχου ακοής σε ενηλίκους και παιδιά. Για την καλύτερη συνεργασία των μικρών μας ασθενών ο Τυμπανογράφος είναι εξοπλισμένος με λειτουργία race car που εξομοιώνει την εξέταση με παιχνίδι.
