Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδίκευσή του τόσο στην περιφέρεια (Δράμα) όσο και στην Αθήνα, αποκτώντας εμπειρία στη λαπαροσκοπική και ελάχιστα επεμβατική χειρουργική, ενώ έχει λάβει επιπλέον μετεκπαίδευση στη χειρουργική ογκολογία. Τέλος, ο ιατρός είναι τακτικό μέλος της Ελληνικής Χειρουργικής Εταιρίας.
