Tzormpatzoglou Ioannis, Vascular Surgeon - Angiologist, with private practices in Larissa and Lamia. He holds a PhD with a dissertation on the Morphology of the Carotid Plaque from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly and is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received further training in endovascular techniques and specialized in vascular surgery at the Naval Hospital of Athens, the Anti-Cancer - Oncology Hospital of Athens "Agios Savvas," and the Red Cross General Hospital of Athens Korgialeneio - Benakeio. He is the head of the Vascular Access Center at Errikos Dunant Hospital, as well as the head of the Vascular Access Department at the 2nd Vascular Surgery Clinic, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at GNA “Laiko” Hospital. Mr. Xatzantonis is the pioneer behind the establishment of the first vascular access center in Greece, recognized by the international Vascular Access Society as a training center for vascular access surgery for hemodialysis patients. Finally, the physician is a scientific collaborator at Errikos Dunant Hospital, Mediterraneo Hospital, and GNA “Laiko” Hospital.
