Haematologists for Thrombophilia

Apsemidou Athanasia MD, MSc, PhDc is a Specialist Hematologist maintaining a private practice in Kalamaria and Evosmos. She graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), followed by postgraduate studies titled "Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies" at the same university's Medical School. Since 2025, she has been a PhD candidate (PhDc) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the Polytechnic Department of "Biomedical Engineering." From 2019 to the present, she has worked as a Hematologist at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and at the AHEPA University General Hospital in Thessaloniki. Since 2024, she has served as an academic collaborator at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).

Mpartzi Vasiliki is a Hematologist maintaining a private practice in Ilisia and holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her medical studies at the Medical School in 2000 and received her medical license in 2002. Subsequently, she completed her mandatory three-month training in the specialties of Cardiology, Pathology, and Surgery at the "Skylitseio" Hospital in Chios and worked as a compulsory rural service physician at the Pyrgi Health Center. She has worked as a resident physician in the Pediatrics Department of the General Hospital of Kalamata to obtain her Hematology specialty certification. Additionally, she specialized in the technique of "Fluorescent in situ Hybridization (FISH)" and Molecular techniques in the laboratory of the Kapodistrian University of Athens, received specialization in Hematology at the 1st Propaedeutic Pathology Clinic of Laiko Hospital in Athens, and underwent six months of training in the Blood Donation Department of Laiko Hospital as well as six months of training in the Bone Marrow Transplantation Department of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos." She has worked as a Consultant Physician B' at the Errikos Dynan Hospital Center and at the General Hospital of Karditsa, as a Scientific Collaborator at the General Hospital "Laiko" and the 1st Propaedeutic Pathology Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University. She has been a resident physician in the Pediatrics Department at the General Hospital of Kalamata, a compulsory rural service physician at the Pyrgi Health Center in the Regional Unit of Chios, and currently serves as a Consultant Hematologist at the University General Hospital of Athens "Laiko" and at the Diagnostic Laboratory Microanalysis Medical S.A.

Ο Παναγιώτης Σιουρούνης είναι Αιματολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Περιστέρι, εντός της Κλινικής "Ιατρικό Περιστερίου" και στο Φάληρο, εντός της Κλινικής "Ιατρικό Φαλήρου" Είναι Ιατρικός Συνεργάτης του Ομίλου Ιατρικό Αθηνών, και Διευθυντής Αιματολογικού τμήματος στο Εθνικό Σύστημα Υγείας (ΕΣΥ).

Διαθέτει πολυετή Νοσοκομειακή εμπειρία στην άσκηση της ειδικότητας της Αιματολογίας σε ολόκληρο το φάσμα της (Κλινική, Εργαστηριακή, Ογκολογία, Αιμοδοσία, Ανοσοαιματολογία, κ.ά.).

Ασκεί εξατομικευμένη ολιστική προσέγγιση των ασθενών του, παρέχοντας υψηλού επιπέδου ιατρικές υπηρεσίες τόσο κατά την αρχική διάγνωση όσο και κατά την παρακολούθηση στη συνέχεια.

 Είναι κάτοχος Πτυχίου Ιατρικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης (ΑΠΘ) καθώς και Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης και διαθέτει πολυετή εμπειρία σε ολόκληρο το φάσμα νοσημάτων της ειδικότητας της Αιματολογίας.  

Διαθέτει ιδιαίτερα πλούσιο Βιογραφικό με Συμμετοχές σε Συγγραφές Επιστημονικών Βιβλίων, Διατριβών και Διπλωματικών εργασιών,  Δημοσιεύσεις σε Διεθνή και Ελληνικά περιοδικά και  Ανακοινώσεις σε Διεθνή και Ελληνικά Συνέδρια.  Επίσης, στα πλαίσια της συνεχούς επιμόρφωσής του, έχει συμμετάσχει και έχει παρακολουθήσει πλήθος Ιατρικών Συνεδρίων, Μετεκπαιδευτικών Μαθημάτων και Σεμιναρίων.  Έχει ασκήσει παράλληλα πλούσια Εκπαιδευτική δραστηριότητα στην εκπαίδευση νέων Ιατρών, Τεχνολόγων και Νοσηλευτών.

Είναι Τακτικό Μέλος της Ελληνικής Αιματολογικής Εταιρείας και του Ιατρικού Συλλόγου Αθηνών και συμμετέχει σε Επιστημονικές Επιτροπές και Επιστημονικά Τμήματα της Ε.Α.Ε.
