Ξεκίνησε την επαγγελματική του πορεία σε κέντρα αποκατάστασης, όπου ασχολήθηκε κυρίως με τη μετεγχειρητική αποκατάσταση και την επαναφορά της λειτουργικής κινητικότητας ασθενών συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά στη βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής τους. Στη συνέχεια, ανέλαβε θέση επιστημονικού υπευθύνου σε φυσικοθεραπευτήριο για διάστημα δύο ετών με κύριο αντικείμενο την αξιολόγηση και αποκατάσταση αθλητών καθώς και τη διαχείριση μυοσκελετικών παθήσεων στον ενήλικο πληθυσμό. Ο Ιωάννης Μπάμπης είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός, διατηρεί το δικό του Ιδιωτικό Ορθοπεδικό Ιατρείο στο Κέντρο της Αθήνας και είναι επιστημονικός συνεργάτης της Βιοκλινικής Αθηνών και άλλων θεραπευτηρίων της Αθήνας. Additionally, he has specialized in the management of persistent pain and inflammation, holding a Diploma in Neural Therapy, a therapeutic technique utilizing local anesthetics for the management of acute and chronic pain. His private practice offers a range of services, including meniscal arthroscopy, cruciate ligament arthroscopy, osteoporosis screening, and chondropathy arthroscopy.
