Διετέλεσε από το 2013 έως το 2022 μέλος του ιατρικού επιτελείου της ποδοσφαιρικής ομάδας της Bundesliga FC Schalke 04 στο Gelsenkirchen Γερμανίας και απέκτησε κατόπιν εξετάσεων την υποειδικότητα της Αθλητιατρικής από τον Ιατρικό Σύλλογο Westfalen-Lippe Γερμανίας. Έχει λάβει την Πιστοποίηση αρθροσκοπικών επεμβάσεων από τη Γερμανόφωνη Εταιρία Αρθροσκόπησης AGA με τομείς εξειδίκευσης την αρθροσκόπηση γόνατος (συνδεσμικές κακώσεις γόνατος – Πρόσθιος/Οπίσθιος Χιαστός Σύνδεσμος, κακώσεις μηνίσκων, χόνδρινες βλάβες γόνατος), την αρθροσκόπηση ισχίου (σύνδρομο μηροκοτυλιαίας πρόσκουσης, χόνδρινες βλάβες, βλάβη επιχειλίου χόνδρου) και την αρθροσκόπηση ποδοκνημικής άρθρωσης. Ανήκει στους λίγους χειρουργούς διεθνώς που είναι εξειδικευμένοι στην αποκατάσταση του οπισθίου χιαστού συνδέσμου του γόνατος. Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του έλαβε το 2008 υποτροφία και σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Βόννης, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität, στη Γερμανία. Έκτοτε εργάστηκε και εξειδικεύθηκε εξ΄ολοκλήρου στη Γερμανία. Με πάνω από 85 επιστημονικές δημοσιεύσεις σε κορυφαία διεθνή περιοδικά και ενεργό ρόλο ως Κριτής (Consultant Reviewer), παραμένει στην αιχμή των εξελίξεων της ορθοπεδικής χειρουργικής. Η αφοσίωσή του στην επιστημονική έρευνα και τα καινοτόμα πρωτόκολλα εξασφαλίζει λύσεις που βασίζονται σε τεκμηριωμένες πρακτικές, αναβαθμίζοντας συνεχώς το επίπεδο των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών στον ασθενή.

4. Εξειδίκευση σε Απαιτητικές Επεμβάσεις

Διαθέτει υψηλή εξειδίκευση σε προχωρημένες τεχνικές, όπως ρομποτική αρθροπλαστική γόνατος (Robotic TKA) και εξατομικευμένη αρθροπλαστική (patient-specific instrumentation), αλλά και σε αρθροσκοπικές επεμβάσεις γόνατος. Ο Ευσταθίου Ανδρέας MSc, MBA, PhD, FHCOS είναι Ορθοπαιδικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιατρεία στην Αθήνα και στη Ναύπακτο. Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου "Victor Babes" της Ρουμανίας και στη συνέχεια ειδικεύτηκε στην Ορθοπαιδική και Τραυματολογία στην Β΄ Ορθοπαιδική Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική στο Κωνσταντοπούλειο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νέας Ιωνίας, όπου απέκτησε σημαντική εμπειρία στη διάγνωση και αντιμετώπιση ευρέοu φάσματος Ορθοπαιδικών παθήσεων και τραυματισμών. Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκπαίδευσής του, εκπαιδεύτηκε σε εξειδικευμένα τμήματα της Παιδοχειρουργικής, της Παιδοορθοπαιδικής, της Χειρουργικής Χεριού και της Μικροχειρουργικής, εμπλουτίζοντας την εμπειρία του σε σύνθετες παθήσεις και εξειδικευμένες χειρουργικές τεχνικές.

Παράλληλα, συνέχισε την ακαδημαϊκή και επιστημονική του εκπαίδευση με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Διεθνή Ιατρική και Διαχείριση Κρίσεων Υγείας, στη Διοίκηση Μονάδων Υγείας, στη Διαχείριση Κρίσεων στον τομέα της Υγείας, καθώς και MBA στη Διοίκηση Υπηρεσιών Υγείας. Ολοκλήρωσε επίσης τη διδακτορική του διατριβή στην Ιατρική Σχολή Αθηνών, διατηρώντας ενεργή συμμετοχή στην επιστημονική έρευνα, σε συνέδρια και σε δημοσιεύσεις.

Σήμερα υπηρετεί ως Επιστημονικός Συνεργάτης στην Κλινική Ρομποτικής Χειρουργικής Γόνατος και Ισχίου του Metropolitan General Hospital, ενώ έχει υπηρετήσει και ως Επικουρικός Χειρουργός Ορθοπαιδικός στην Πρωτοβάθμια Φροντίδα Υγείας. Το ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον του εστιάζεται στη χειρουργική γόνατος και ισχίου, στην τραυματολογία και στις σύγχρονες χειρουργικές τεχνικές, με στόχο τη βέλτιστη λειτουργική αποκατάσταση και τη γρήγορη επάνοδο των ασθενών στην καθημερινότητά τους.

Πιστεύει ότι η σχέση εμπιστοσύνης μεταξύ ιατρού και ασθενούς αποτελεί βασικό στοιχείο της θεραπευτικής διαδικασίας. Για τον λόγο αυτό δίνει ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη σωστή ενημέρωση, στην εξατομικευμένη και ολιστική αντιμετώπιση με σκοπό την επιλογή της καταλληλότερης θεραπείας για κάθε ασθενή.
