She studied Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During her studies, she worked for 3 months at Kantonspital Bruderholz in Switzerland. As a rural doctor, she served for 2 years at the Peripheral Clinic of Gravia and at the General Hospital of Amfissa from 2005 to 2007. As a Cardiology Resident, she worked at Sismanoglio Hospital in Athens and completed her specialty training at the General Hospital "Asklipieio Voulas".
