Διετέλεσε για ένα διάστημα στην Ορθοπαιδική κλινική του Kungsbacka Hospital, University of Gothenburg, Sweden όπου και εκπαιδεύτηκε στις νεότερες τεχνικές της χειρουργικής του χόνδρου των αρθρώσεων υπό την καθοδήγηση ενός από τους πρωτοπόρους και διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένους χειρουργούς στο πεδίο αυτό, prof. Mats Brittberg. Gkioksaris Vasileios is an Endocrinologist and maintains an endocrinology clinic in Ampelokipi. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια Ενδοκρινολογίας και Διαβήτη και σε δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκυρα ιατρικά περιοδικά. Τέλος, διατελεί μέλος της Ελληνικής Ενδοκρινολογικής Εταιρείας.

Απο το 2022 έως το 2024 είχε αναλάβει ως επιστημονικά υπεύθυνη το ενδοκρινολογικο τμήμα του ιδιωτικού πολυιατρείου "Doctor hall" στην Καλλιθέα. Επίσης από το 2023 διατελεί επιστημονική συνεργάτης της Accurate health auditing and consulting AE.
