He completed his doctoral dissertation at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland (USA). He began his specialization in Rheumatology in London. There, he had the opportunity to participate in J. Cyriax's team for the consolidation and dissemination of Orthopedic Pathology and to engage in the biomechanical pathophysiology of the spinal column, the scientific foundation of osteopathy (manipulation), and injection therapy of the joints and spine. He served for five years as Director of the Rheumatology Department at NIEE and currently serves as a scientific collaborator at the University of Athens.
